she looks perfect. from the perfect smile to the perfect lived-in cashmere sweater. i know that it is the hat that elevates it all, but i really do believe that this is also the sum of all of the parts.
This is such a great photo! I love everything- her hat (which I envy as I completely cannot pull it off), her lipstick, her beautiful facial expression and vintage-y sweater. Oh, I die! Thanks for such a treat!
This is such a great shot! I love everything- her hat (which I envy as I completely cannot pull them off), her lipstick, her beautiful facial expression and vintage-y sweater… Oh, I die! Thanks for such a treat!
hey i love your blog!i found it recently :) but i was just wondering why do you take photos of people only during the day? i think it would be interesting to see some outfits of people on a night out :)
Haha, that hat is awesome and the sweater is really cute. She's pretty but the way she has her lips looks kind of angry…and yet for some reason I can't look away!
LOL! That knit is pilling terribly!!! Pretty look though! It always amazes me that women take sooo little care of their clothes. Like the way women walk around nicely dressed but with scuffed and damaged shoes?!
a TRUE beauty! Her face just jumps out at you between those neutrals, and that hat is absolutely adorable on her–i may have to go hunting for one of those this winter.
Finally–a hat worn with confidence, and correctly: the circumference large enough for the head, pulled fully onto the hair so that is does not perch there like an afterthought, a self-conscious afterthought.
It's been a long time we haven't seen Eva on your blog! Among all of the pictures you took of her, I think this is the one which reminds me the most of Audrey Hepburn …the smile, the simplicity of her style…I love it!
Eva is prob my favorite Sartorialist girl! (& Giovanna Battaglia) Eva is wonderfully attired, she's not perfect and mixes contrasting fabrics and decades into her look….which makes her fantastic :) Of course, her spark of life is evident in her eyes!
STUNNING! Spring just walked in. What a great hat! Not just anyone could pull this look off. Absolute perfection; both subject and photography (as usual). Merci beaucoup for your blog.
