I really doubt that top would look good on anyone else! The ruffles would easily be overpowering or a bit 'dressing up box' but with THAT hair it all looks perfect. This is exactly what people I when I talk about 'personal style'. HOORAH! :) http://fashionregardless.blogspot.com/
Oh, this portrait is fanstasic ! Her top is realy gorgeous (I wish i had the same) and her hair cut is perfect ! I love the black and white : the hair, the bag, the top, the background; all of that contrasting with her skin tone that is so colorfull (+ the red lips and the bracelet). A very very beautifull photo. One of my favorites lately.
i love the little details that make this outfit that is kinda traditional/feminine look flirty, edgy, and surprising. The hair is a wonderful echo of the collar and sleeves. And of course the radiant personality that emanates from the face just makes the whole thing glow with individuality and charm.
Oh wow, Amazing outfit and I want that bag. I have been dying for one, and hopefully I will be able to afford one in the near future. Great photo and I love the winded hair look, classy yet stylish. As always, thank you for your post. Dana
I can't imagine that blouse looking half as good on anyone else, so few women are truly gamine enough to pull this off, unfortunately! It's a lovely portrait: the averted gaze and mischievous smile are the only accessories she needs, who even notices the bag? Truly the bag fetish is out of hand.
I love her hair, I wish I could get mine cut like that. And her smile, which is why most of these pictures work. As for the white collar, a little bit too much like a clown for my taste. I love the ring on her finger, not the traditional fourth finger at all, but worn on the middle one.
The picture is well-made, of course, but the way she's looking away makes her seem possessed. Also, the shirt is absolutely ridiculous and the hipster hairstyle hideous. Why does everyone act like nice, shiny hair is boring? The Birkin is gorgeous, of course, but all Birkins are, and everyone is wearing them. Kudos for originality.
VERY CUTE GIRL…. THE PHOTO IS WELL DONE ON YOUR PART SCOTT… THE LIGHTING IS AMAZING…. HER PHOTO'S, AND THE WAY SHE DRESSES ARE ALCHEMICAL….. SHE IS THE BEST DRESSED OF ANY ONE YOU HAVE EVER PHOTOGRAPHED…
Yes she's totally gorgeous and she has great dress sense, but what I really love is how the white ruffles against the dark blue dress are echoed in the ring…did she know that when she put it on? I suspect she did. Great photo! I love how she's looking away.
This photo and her just radiate some friendly warmth, something that draws you in. Truly attractive, not just beautiful. That smile's worth a million bucks coupled with the simplicity of the rest of it all.
By the looks of it, the kind of girl even grandma would approve of. Fantastic.
Ok Witch Hermes bag style is this??? Some body help? It doesn't look like a Birkin or Kelly because you cannot see the straps on it??? Noe is it a Kelly pochette, it's a much larger size? Somebody HELP?!!! Need to know, need to have it!!!!!
@ Anonymous said… She looks so pretentious, clutching that Birkin so it shoes on the picture! It seems such an unnecessary and classless display of money…
There is nothing pretentious about this photograph. The subject is purely beautiful and her Kelly bag does not take ownership of the image.
To me she appears to be her own person with her own style who just happens to have a Kelly bag wedged under her arm. It is far from being the subject of the photograph.
Perhaps you need to appreciate things beyond financial value and appreciate beauty for what it is in its raw state. None of us know anything about this person beyond the beauty that has been captured in this image.
Perhaps it is you who is projecting pretense by making the image about the Kelly bag…to me I don't see a Kelly bag…I see a beautiful woman who happens to have a Kelly bag. Big deal…money means nothing…its not about how much the piece cost, but its about appreciation for the artisian that crafted it.
To me this image is not about money, or pretension…it is beauty.
