She is so seemingly simple, but interesting. I like those earrings against the scarf. Very pretty.

January 2, 2013 at 10:02 pm
She has beautiful eyes
January 2, 2013 at 11:39 pm
This portrait is a bit different than your traditional style. It looks like you used off camera flash. Can you tell us how you captured this lovely photograph and what you used?

January 2, 2013 at 11:46 pm
One of those unique moments where a piercing completes a face. It suits her perfectly.
January 2, 2013 at 11:53 pm
so beautiful, reminds me of some of my work!

I never though eyebrows piercings suited women – until I saw this – she’s beautifully unique.
January 3, 2013 at 12:46 am
Her skin is luminous, and I love that the grey of the scarf matches the background!
January 3, 2013 at 12:59 am
She somehow looks very multi-racial.
January 3, 2013 at 1:05 am
She is stunningly beautiful.
January 3, 2013 at 1:21 am
Wow! Stunning portrait! It has a filmic quality, it almost looks 3D. I love the play of her beautiful face which could come from an C18th painting with C20th accessories. Fabulous to start to 2013!

She is so stunning and seems to be from another place and time! Like an actress you would find in an old Felini movie. I love how the scarf is scruffy and a bit pulled and worn and imperfect! I’m blown away by this photo, Scott!

This close-up makes the young woman look vulnerable but she doesn’t seem to care, thanks to the talented photographer.
Perfect union between the two.
January 3, 2013 at 12:44 pm
Beautiful girl. Eyebrow piercing-ouch.
January 3, 2013 at 12:48 pm
Whatta vintage face & expression .
This is a pure portrait.
Scarf is just a detail just like a piercing contrasted with a face.
Ok, I’m a liar blog
January 3, 2013 at 2:20 pm
Amazing face! She looks to me like someone out of post-war England, an old soul with this definite wistfullness around her eyes and mouth and I love the piercing as a contrast … Love this portrait!
January 5, 2013 at 9:47 pm
I had that thought too. There is something about her, or her make up that totally makes me think of post war England, or at least BBC shows thereof. And then the piercing sets it off.
January 3, 2013 at 3:35 pm
What beautifully kind eyes she has…
