I don’t know about the pants – they make everyone look so damn bowlegged. I really don’t think they do anything for anyone in terms of silhouette.

I wouldn’t have expected to like this look on a man but he looks amazing!

It is not so much the silhouette I object to with the droopy M.C Hammer pants you have photographed so far, but the quality of the pants themselves. They have all looked like stretched out and soiled gym/yoga pants. There have been very interesting pants playing with this silhouette featured by such designers as Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garcons, Lumen et Umbra, and others. The ones you have shown so far look like cheap running pants that the wearers have taken a poop in.

I still have mixed feelings about this trend. I have a pair that I lounge around in… in the house. Just not brave enough yet to wear it outside. This just might not be the trend for me but I can admire it on others. Talk to me when it’s over 90 degree’s outside and I might just change my mind.

These drop-waist pants remind me of the physical attributes of E.T. – wrinkly and very short-legged. I wonder how much a person’s stride looks like a waddle while wearing them?
