that’s really impressive. the teens in the states, especially those who claim to be fashion minded, all seem to look the same. i’m wishing now that i had bought stock in abercrombie and fitch 15 years ago.
I think that they have more sophistication because they probably get to shop at zara and H&M. our teens get abercrombie and old navy. and think paris hilton is fashionable.
I don’t know if we can speak about sophistication concerning this teen as I think the way she’s dressed is quite “too much”. But I admit there’s a real fashionable research!
When i first saw this, my heart just stopped! Then i read the caption and felt so humbled that this person was only in her teen years. Unless she is like me and passes for being pretty young.
RED Lips- Brilliant! I find that people tend to be more fashion forward in the sense that the “dress” for the day vs American who tend to just dress. I also think they don’t care about the “label” as much as the cut and fit of a piece- which makes a HUGE difference.
Oh my. This is the first person I have ever seen in my life who makes black tights work with white shoes … indeed, who makes white shoes work. Normally this is a horrible combination, especially when done by fashion stylists who ought to know better. Here, it is super cool. What a gorgeous girl. A mini skirt with opaque tights is definitely my all-time favourite look.
At first I thought she was wearing kabuki make-up, but her pallor is so lovely. I also appreciate the knot in her shoelaces and the hemline on her skirt.
Everything about her is absolutely lovely – her hair, lipstick, skin color, coat. Stockholm should definitely be talked about more often as far as fashion goes.

Love it! The black and white and pale skin and red lips is just too cool. Is she rocking Sambas?

I love the red lipstick against her fair skin tone. I hope she keeps wearing that color for a long long time.

If that scarf is actually the pale shade of pink that I think it is, then this girl is fashionable beyond her years!

Yes, U.S. teens could certainly take a lesson from the Swedes! (I’m so tired of the ubiquitous tight tee/low-rise jeans combo.) Great lipstick too!

Totally!!
Europe just oozes sophistication…Aussie teens are slaves to fashion, all they wear are skinny skinny jeans, flip flops and tees…boring!

Maybe Sydney teenagers dress badly, but I’ve seen teenagers in Melbourne wear outfits like that one – some of them on my train look way cool!
