If so, why is this woman here. She ascribes to neither elegant, nor smartly dressed….hmmm

This blog is about style, sometimes style can be rough and raw, like rock and roll.

Nothing wrong with her is a young style..wish I were young again to wear some of these things and pull them off…she looks rather cool, my daughter would approve.

Mr. Sartorialist, it would help if you mentioned in passing under these street shots what detail(s) struck you to take the photo. i’m a bit lost with this one.

If you don’t get it, an explanation won’t help. I completely get that she looks enviably cool. Its OK that you don’t. Not everyone can understand everything.

This is either someone I know, or someone who looks and dresses remarkable similar. I will have to ask her if you took her picture.

As for her style, I think it’s great. Great attitude, simple, comfortable pieces that say that she is ready to party *or* to chill out, nothing fussy. And it shows what a mild winter the NE has been getting.

this works because of the white (or is it soft pink?) sneakers. this is i’m-not-a-fashion-victim-fashion. it’s cool. i like the androgynous slant.

this is basically how i dressed in my teens and now, in my 30′s nothing has changed. i love a comfortable outfit, jeans, tees, sweaters, army coat. grunge will survive, cause its just a comfortable, easy, i-don’t-care aesthetic.
