Very retro and yet edgy, one has to be rather daring to wear an outfit with huge chillis on it. She completely pulls it off though, with her sexy, I-don’t-really-care attitude. Love this girl!
EEEK! I have a dress with the same pattern. Just got it as a gift, and I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet. Well, maybe today is the day! :)
Her’s is beautiful.
What I love about this shot is how 1950s it looks. The hair is healthy, shiny and full and makes this woman look 10 years younger. The sunglasses are retro…and the outfit is straight out of the 1950s…easy to sew too. It would be so comfortable in the hot hot weather we’re having in the U.S. Finally, that bag? Perfect size for a knitting WIP!
This was such a fun collection by Dolce and Gabbana! I like how she complemented the 50s silhouette with 50s Sykes hair, matching red lippie and cateye sunglasses, then dressed it right down with those simple flat sandals…not the usual choice of footwear worn with Birkins.
Ahhhh….Dolce & Gabbana perfection!!! Such a happy print and she looks great in it!! Her hair, sunglasses, bag, but especially how she wore it with flat sandals as opposed to a heel, makes this a quintessential summer outfit!!! So feminine!! Truly a “HOT PEPPER”!!! LOL!!!
I love chillies. This lady has made me love them even more. Beautiful….Just waiting for Cary Grant to turn up, she’s got that Sophia Luaren / Cary grant movie look going on. Well to me she has anyway :)
This woman looks so gorgeous, like an old hollywood star. Unfortunately, I won’t be wearing midi skirts this summer, because I live in Berlin, where people stopyou on the street and tell you, ”Nice outfit, but you shouldn’t be wearing something more ghetto?” Unbelievable.
This chili-pepper skirt/top outfit is delightful. The full skirt and cropped top evoke a wonderful 50s-era Italian resort glamour. Her styling is superb with the cat-eye sunglasses and flat sandals.
What a hot tamale! (pun totally intended) But seriously, I love the subtle 50s glam attitude this photo exudes but she still has her personality & a touch of sex appeal infused in her outfit! Perfection!
Palpable. The heat, the sun, the fabric, her youth. Looking at this photograph makes me physically understand I am no longer a young woman. I will never wear a dress like that again. But she is so adorable, it’s a pleasure to look at. There is an entire story in it.
This is 1950 italian style. This woman reminds me of the movie stars of that era, down to the vespa (minus the phone.)
She is beautiful and the Hermes is a nice modern touch.
When I first saw this dress from Dolce & Gabbana I wasn’t sure how it could be worn for everyday but she really pulls it off! I like the hairstyle and the lips match perfectly! So chic!
Absolutely stunning… and then you get to those shoes – dear goddd – anything but those old-lady sandals!!! They might be some hip designer, but they look like crap. So many alternatives that aren’t high heels… sad… and otherwise she seems to know what she’s doing… maybe she needs an intervention – a SHOE intervention.
Everything about her refers to Italy,
I’m Italian too and this oldfashioned outfit and haido remind me my grandmother pictures. Love it! http://myvintagecurves.blogspot.it/
for my husband and I this is clear of nonsense….money can’t buy style….yet very nice Dolce skirt and hair but come on! the top is not her size and the sandals seem used and old…she is far from having allure. sorry
She is quite sure of herself!
This is the kind of outfit that only a woman who was quite confident would wear out on the streets.
Even though I am not a big fan of the whole showing off part of your stomach thing, I do like the skirt and the bold prints.
The thing that I really like though is her hair, it looks so healthy and shiny and the way she is wearing it to the side, that color. loveeeeeeeee it.
First Dree Hemingway at Coachella and now here. I love this outfit so much. It’s one of my favorites ever from D&G so I hope to see many more people wear it.. makes me happy every time!
I do like the pattern and the style of this dress!
And now for something completely different: I don’t know how you travel from Firenze to Milano, but I think by train, because it’s only 2 hours away. I would highly recommend Italo; I’ve been living in Italy for 5 months now, and have travelled with both Italo and the Freccia. I can tell Italo has way better service, wifi is easier to use, prices are lower, and the train is more comfortable!
Yes, so Sophia Loren in a 50′s or 60′s film. Love it. The hair, lipstick, dress and sun. And the flats instead of heels is so natural sexy, effortless elegance. Great shot!
Wether this model does it voluntarily or not, what I like on this outfit is the simple pair of sandals that is joking with all the trade marks and luxury look stated above them :P
Oh My God! This woman is female personified. This is one of my favourites EVER and makes me proud to be a woman. (Never to achieve this magnificence but proud to be of the same gender!).
Such a fantasy when you are able to see real life princesses who are blessed with both beauty and the means to accouter themselves in complete designer finery with apparently little care in the world for cost.
She looks fantastic. The shoes are just right: anything “nicer” would make the outfit look over-thought and costume-y. As is, she looks earthy, grounded, and sexy.
This length of a skirt with flats is pretty brave. I wouldn’t have that kind of courage. Love her retro hair, glasses and red lipstick to match. Very feminine.
WOW.. is the only word comes to my mind. Dress is beautiful but not as beautiful and perfect like her!!!! she is amazing female with oozing confident, style and perfection.
She looks really cool and pretty – fashionable without being a victim, despite the obvious Dolce ensemble – but I think the Birkin spoils this look. I would have liked to have seen a wicker basket. But she looks gorgeous, bag or no bag!
Like the ’60s flair very much. Im a straight guy who loves when the ladies show some skin, but I think this dress would have looked better with a covered midriff.

The dress if by Dolce And Gabbana. I remember it from the show. She is wearing it well. Very retro 50′s. Sofia or Gina could of been wearing it.

Yes, so Sophia Loren in a 50′s or 60′s film. Love it. The hair, lipstick, dress and sun. And the flats instead of heels is so natural sexy, effortless elegance. Great shot!
