If I looked like her in a sack cloth I would certainly wear one! And I thought everyone already knew that just wearing designer clothing wasn’t going to make the grade here. Or anywhere worthwhile for that matter. But I know what you mean.
It’s just designer clothes are better cut and sometimes their boldness can be cool, so they’re the best if you want to look great and outstanding at the samr time, which is all that site is about, I guess. I’m neither saying they’re always a good choice for good-taste sake, nor they’re the only way to look great. My point was precisely to say if we could look great without any desgner clothes, then they would be just useless. And it was solely by contrast with something that loocks like a sack to me, as you accurately pointed out.
Once again, I guess location and context has everything to do with everything. On the surface it’s just a big white nothing dress. But on her with her good looks and great shoes and located in her beautiful surroundings, everything is fantastic. Knowing this, I’m still convinced I can make a big white nothing dress look as fantastic.
I am fascinated by the juxtapositions in the photo…both in your photography and her style. The clean, crisp white dress and black shoes with her slightly messy hair and added ankle bracelet…the dark and light…the red lips and heel height with her loose, demure frock and natural makeup. I just love this photo.
