Love the bright blue on the skirt but what really fascinates me in the first picture is the movement in the hair, the crossed arm and legs…there must be a fascinating story behind this woman and I would really like to know what it is all about.
I used to have a bright blue pair of skinny jeans like that, way back in 2007 when bright colored jeans were coming back into style. I really like this not so subtle hint of color.
Love the color someone once told me was French Blue. It’s so vivid, without being overpowering. I had a blazer in a darker tone of the color. It made black slacks much more vibrant; perfect for tastefully standing out.
I was going to make a comment but I keep on getting distracted by the beautiful woman’s legs.
Now I know what I was going to say love the color on both shots. Nice way to bring out color. I like the monochromatic look and it also seems to fit well as a autumn color the way both of them have paired it with navy.
I love London, the fashion and style from there will always be my favorite, after living there in 6 years I’ve become so into it, miss Oxford Street! I recently started a blog here in Stockholm Sweden about street style from Sweden. Take a look!
It’s reminds me of your entry Sunday, February 25, 2007, Blues Hues. I seem to have a lot more navy in my wardrobe since following your blog – navy and grey and navy and blue and….
The electric blue jeans and the skirt look stunning!

Congrats!

That is amazing. It’s like they purposely picked out that combination to match each other. Gotta say, the skirt is really working for her. I’m not sure about the guy, though. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s the socks that bother me.
Awesome pictures, Scott.
i became aware of this particular blue just this week! my friend showed up with a jacket this exact colour and I was fascinated. i’d never seen such a colour! a few days later noticed someone on the street with the same colour pants and again I took note. i can’t imagine wearing it but i think it’s very striking.
There are so many looks that I love, but for some reason this one has me flicking back to it repeatedly. I just can’t keep my eyes off of it. Not only is the skirt in an amazingly vibrant colour, but it also has the detail to it and is fitted, without being too tight. It’s the perfect length to look young, but still keep your dignity intact. The pairing with the casual sweater with pushed up sleeves really makes the look though.
In Germany we call this color China-Blue.
I think it’s cool and accurately determines the color.
Wearing something in that color feels like a character from the tales of One Thousand and One Nights or Mandarin’s daughter :)
Love it!!!
