I am actually laughing. Yes, her legs look great, Sartorialist. You do not need to discuss the shoes to justify the photo of the very beautiful legs….; )

These shoes really do have a great “Look”. Not just the shape of the round toe but combining it with that “deco” stripe is so well done and flattering to the wearer. Great spotting Satorialist, you’ve done it again!

Aren’t those anklestraps supposed to cut of your legs, making them appear shorter?

I think the whole “strap making the leg seem short” is more about if the ankle is wide, the strap draws attention to that and hence makes the leg seem shorter.
This girl has great but subtle muscle definition in her legs so I think the strap draws attention to that in a very positive way

Those shoes are everything! I would have like to seen the rest of the outfit to see what she paired with the shorts, but I’m such a shoe fanatic that I will happily settle with just a pic of the shoes. :)
