Wow, here is a little story going on, it seems. I really like the colors though, they seem to suit her very well! I could never get away with that colorscheme…
I’m posting today for the first time, to say that your eye and talent are a magnificent addition to my mornings. Your photography as of late has demonstrated a keen-ness of observation and a quick reflex that makes these photographs sing, not simply with fashion, but with situation.
I have been an avid viewer of your site for a year now, but these recent photographs tap into a spirit that is even more beautiful than before. Sincere thanks and congratulations.
Trendspotters pay attention! Like yesterday’s sensational photo of the ragamuffin- not as was incorrectly noted “granola” but definitely more folklorico ( as they say in SOCAL)…id est, checks, shades of plum, yellow lines and floral prints.
I like the ways the colors play off one another. It’s Hogwarts-esque, if I must admit why I really like it.
What is that splash of bright color and pattern on the outside of her coat, but behind her? I can’t really see it, and I was wondering if that was an additional element of the look?
Can somebody clarify what’s going on with the pink, maroon, and white print that’s sticking out slightly to her right below her waist and extending below the coat? I can’t figure out what piece of clothing that is.
This is the reason I love this blog….because even though this color combination is not my favorite, I appreciate that beauty and inspiration is different things to different people. I do love the way her coat matches her lips. i wonder if that’s her natural lip color? Congratulations on all of your success Sart!
I must say, I think the plaid shirt sleeves absolutely tie it together. :D This woman did an excellent job choosing colors that harmonize with her skin tone. Very nice!
I love the composition of this image. The three perfectly placed characters, the drab colors in the back ground slowly growing more interesting as your eye moves the front from black to the blue cap to the explosion of complimentary colors with the perfect plaid texture here and there. Fabulous.
I must be the only one who doesn´t like this photo.Actually the colors match her skin and hair, but the colors together are so sad that I instantly feel very depressed.
I like this because it doesn’t look posed like the other shots. It looks *un*- self conscious as if she didn’t put a whole lot of thought into it. She picks colors that appeal to her and naturally it comes together. I’m glad to see she is bucking the trend of doubling the scarf and sticking both ends through the fold. I am so tired of that big lump on the chest.

Love this look, although not sure it would work as well without her arms crossed?

Striking colors…
The thing peeking out from behind her, I’d say it’s an umbrella!
(Or a plastic bag?)

I think the (paisley ?) printed thing behind her is an umbrella that she’s holding in her left hand that’s tucked under.
