THANKS for this cheery start to my day! She follows her style, not fashion–she looks like so much fun too. The bright yellow background and the outfit are both perfect summer in to fall… that difficult transition time.
I love this picture, the colours, her pose, her style, her smile, everything. Great composition. I don't get why ppl get so upset about the cigarettes all the time, ok, everyone knows that is not good for the health to smoke, but a lot of people do anyway, and if she smokes in the picture, so what?
I almost never comment but I feel like saying to Michelle (first commenter)….yep. 'Tis true. I've a friend who dresses similarly, has lovely laugh. Alas, she is overweight right now & good grooming or not, she is mocked behind her back. It pisses me off no end.
Nothing against the laughing lady against the yellow wall (except so sick of the cigs…I have to put up with it when in Italy but ugh. Talk about so-not-chic).
Thanks Scott! This photo is beautiful and timeless, there are no "right this second" accessories or garments that give this image a short expiration date. It's a beautiful woman, wearing items we all own with elegance and sophistication. In fact, that is how I will wear my linen pants next summer!
finally sart, you are going back to what you used to be. i almost gave up on you. for the time being, no more body con, studded high heels fashionistas..have you noticed how many more people are commenting on your pages?! we can see body con etc on topshop website/vogue etc etc but true originally from the street, you can't beat. and that for me is what you are about.
She looks like a real person, Somebody you'd meet after work for drinks and a great time. I'll never meet her and I care about her. That's awesome to be able to capture the essence of a person so clearly. Good job. imkirkwood Art from an Ordinary Life: http://bit.ly/2DCmiC
oh this is wonderful – caSual and super chic at the same time!! i always find it hard to dress down without looking scruffy – this is perfect inspiration!
I am surprised this outfit was met with so much enjoyment. The fit isn't doing anything for me. The pointy shoulders on the blazer bother me like crazy, the seat/crotch of the pants is super low, making a stance like this make her legs look twice as skinny based on how the fabric drapes. Which is really not flattering in my opinion. Then to boot, the chucks. They make it look like she's 'trying'.
that zara blazer… just 59,90 euros here in Spain! (probably outside like 20 euros more, but who cares!) no dolce, balmain or chanel needed here… fashion is an attitude once again!
The shoes are a nice touch. It's good to see comfortable shoes after all the horrible high heels I've seen on models lately. I know, being able to walk in those things is a skill every model is supposed to have, that's what they make the big bucks. But I much prefer something real, like this picture. If you ask me, models are overpaid, most real women are underpaid.
