id hype this woman if she got a lookbook lol! and a heart as well! we all just love denim arent we? theyre back in so many different style! i just love love love denim and this woman rox them fine!
i'm sorry, sir, but i am not taken with this look. although maybe i should be: she looks like she walked straight out of wayne's world and that is one of my favourite movies.
I would look completely stupid if I were to wear that, but man does she pull it off (I'm scared to wear denim jackets, especially)! I wonder where she got all those pieces. Looks inexpensive yet totally chic!
Hmmm… one of the rare photos on this site that I don't like AT ALL. there's something very dated about the look; she looks like she belongs in an ad for a fizzy drink from the 1970's. I think she's trying to hard.
Is she doing 80s demin as a fashion statement, or did they never stop wearing 80s demin in Barcelona ? That washed out color – I didnt like it then and I still dont like it now…
I'm loving this one Scott! Have not commented in a while but this outfit deserves a nod. She is smokin in the neck piece and oversized denim jkt! Nice find!
I'm usually not a big fan of matching denim, but she somehow makes it work. I like that she doesn't seem to be trying too hard. Wish I could see her bike. I bet it's cool.
I do like the boldness, and she's certainly beautiful, but I would've rather had a darker wash on the jeans. Then again, that might have ended up looking odd with the navy in the shirt. Either way, I think something has to change with the pants. The jacket is oversize, perhaps it would feel a little more "on purpose" if she had a slimmer cut to the jeans? Regardless, she is beautiful and I'd definitely look twice.
Denim on denim is not my favorite, as it looks a bit dated… however it works here as the whole image has a vintage 70s feel… sort of a Breck Girl image.
I love this outfit and she rocks it but am I the ONLY ONE who is focusing on her boobies? Anyone? Anyone? Even if I wore something like that I'd have to put petals over my nipples. Lord forbid anyone be shown the goods. :P That's just my american-ness though. I'm quite selfish. :P
She is indeed pretty with pretty hair. But man, do those jean give her baggy-crotch like crazy. And that top does nothing for her probably great body. And the denim jacket/shirt is too stiff to be shapeless.
Wow, can't believe I'm the first to comment on what GREAT BOOBS she has!! haha, I'm jealous!!! Other than that, gorgeous lighting, terrible jeans, yet still- effortlessly chic.
ohhh, there's something exciting I see in her. Denim and tan leather along with tribal accessories is eternal. Denim was borne over 100 years ago and well…leather accessories have been around for many centuries…so I see something very basic, solid and down to earth in this photo. There's nothing more sexy than this–and that tee sits oh so perfectly.
I LOVE her see-through shirt. I think I'm in love. and I'm a woman. a straight woman. She just has a gorgeous, sexy energy about her that I am constantly trying to cultivate in myself. For me it is more about the energy than the specific clothes. I would never go denim on denim myself, but she ROCKS it!
Love the jacket, and the shirt has a sort of Charlie-ad / Studio 54 vibe, but the jeans… nonononono. Please tell me that mom jeans really aren't reappearing as some sort of ironic hipster statement!
That necklace just popped out at me. I'm always jealous of people who can wear them. I have a ridiculously long "giraffe" neck & I feel like I look very strange when I try to where one. Guess I just get self conscious.
she look so perfect. so carefree, so relaxed, so unbelievable that she should wear such a helmet (though she must for safety) and instead let her hair blow just as carefree behind her while she rides, no doubt, her scooter.
i'm being a dork. instead i could just say that she is lovely.
what a pleasant surprise!!was waiting to see who did you get to shoot yesterday and entered your blog impatiently and oh la la!!i know herr!!haha, great shot Scott!! thanks for your pressconference yesterday, i stayed close at then end, trying to have a chat(yeah, expecting a bit too much, but i feel i want to learn so many things!.. guess it's impossible!) hopefully next time.. thanks once again, loved everything you said!! wish your show gets to be released…
well done scott! Barcelona loves you and hopes you come back soon!
Does it mean I'm getting old if I can remember wearing exactly the same outfit 25 years ago?? The loose-fitting high-waisted jeans, the oversized faded sleeves-rolled-up denim jacket (on denim), the oversized tee… She looks great.
I see so many people the world over trying their hand at denim-on-denim and as easy as it sounds, if looks are anything to go by it's incredibly difficult to make a success of. That being said, Camila here proves it's possible. Stunning.
Even though I don't like light washed denim on denim, she would make my head turn in the street. The way how she pulls this look with her hair and the ultra fine cotton shirt is incredible.
A gorgeous woman and a really interesting necklace, but I agree with a couple of previous comments about her dated outfit. The jeans don't do her great figure justice and she could do with a new belt.
WOW… I MEAN WOW… SHE IS TRULY BEAUTIFUL!!! everything about this picture (the way its taken the light the clothes her expression everything..) its all perfect…
I think the way she is able to pull off the oversize shirt along with the pants with her petite frame is great….I wonder if it's a "don't try this at home" look though? hmmm
I always comment about the clothing cause I realize we're here for the fashion and you're not a dating service. But I have to say I am in love with this woman! Wow! Oh and nice denim outfit too!
I find the light on her hair stunning. Also, she wears denim on denim in a way it looks so cool… And, for the anonymus who posted before, let me say that we europeans know how to wear denim…
Hi, yesterday probably was the third time that y listen from your work, but I think that not only you make beautiful shoots of instants of persons, also your comments of them that I read in the book make me feel something special because of the real connection between the camera and the inside person, in many cases putting the clothes in another plane, wearing them only to create a mask. Yesterday I was in Santa Eulalia, but I feel little strange, many people wearing clothes, complements or draws in the faces( a woman with a eyelashes drown around the eyes) totally exterior of them personality; they thought they where in a party inside a disco, many people put their empty glasses in the racks between 900 Tom Ford fantastic shoes. The book I had read was from a friend, but just when I went out of the shop I went to by it.
The combination of her hair style, necklace, fitted shirt–and mostly her knowing eyes–makes oversized, overmatched denim look incredibly sexy. Great look. Great shot.
Her whole outfit does not fit well, but she looks so comfortable and carefree. Such a beautiful, expressive face and I love the design of her necklace–very unique. She looks like a face out of an 80's brochure. Her imperfections make her more distinctive and thus more interesting.
Can you imagine the average North American person thinking this look was fashion forward in any large Canadian or American city? I kind of love it, but only because it's so crazily middle-America/1980s/Wayne's World/hippie-rocker-influenced… I guess her hair, necklace, bag, watch and (maybe) shoes take the look somewhere new for you? Interesting to see Barcelona getting on the "so ugly/dated it's chic again" bandwagon.
you all missed the point…the focus is not the denim on denim, it's her sheer low cut tank top and how it shows her natural breasts…we are so overwhelmed by boob jobs that when we see the real things it gives the woman that "je ne sais pas"… she is glowing, gorgeous, sexy whatever and the unique neck piece helps too…
I don't think there is too much denim, it's exactly the opposite, she shows that fashion is not made of rules, but is made of true creativity, of daring a little. She is gorgeous, congratulations for the sensibility of choosing her!
Though her look shouts 80's… she's so bright! Her expression and definately the piece of jewellery she has on are enough to capture your attention and make you forget about the clothes and the lack of bra…
i love how she continues to wear her braided belt despite it being broken in one part. her willingness to still wear it makes it an accidental style statement.
i love the oversized denim jacket, styled well enough not to look bulky. i love it. she's rocking the denim on denim to a different level. oh, and i just love the tan accents!
i'm not one for denim on denim ? no matter how "trendy" it may be at the moment ? but i do love the navy scoopneck, statement necklace, and men's watch. even in the photos of yours i don't love, i find there's almost always one or two things worth noting.
I am dying to know what was happening below the knees!!! What kind of shoes was she wearing? Were the jeans cuffed or uncuffed, flared or tapered? It's killing me I tell you!

she is so fresh i love her face expression, so sharp, aware and feeling good about herself, confidence, love her decolte and her big necklace she is hot!
Denim outfits at its best. A bit of 80s with fold up sleeves.Color matching of bag and belt fits nicely to the denim wash. Simple tee, but golden bright necklace..that rocks.

I'm not a fan of this outfit, but she's so cute that she makes it work. And I guess it all depends on if she meant the 80s thing (which would be cool) or if it was an accident (not cool). She's got a bike so I'm thinking she's pretty cool and must have meant it!
Are you kidding me? High waisted mom jeans paired with an oversized light wash jean jacket? Never mind that this girl could rock a Sports Illustrated cover, put this pairing on anyone else and it's a nightmare. It's all about how you carry it off!
I'm shocked at the lack of cleavage/boob related comments. There was a smattering, but that was the very first thing I noticed. Double denim is awful. Her vibe is very engaging.
Love her; love the look (yes, denim on denim shocker!); love lighting; love gaze; love leather/denim vibe; love necklace; and yes, oh the shame… love scoop neck chest/boob story… Oh dear, just realised something. At 43, I could be her Dad. Ah well… She's lovely. Well done Scott. You've brightened what was a seriously sad day for me, no-end. Thank you.
OK, I'll say it once and for all. Skin is beautiful. Her skin is great, a few freckles, low cut top with not a lot of cleavage, but getting that sexy vibe without vulgarity. If she was a C cup, no way.
this looks like a '90s sart post. I'm not too crazy about the denim ensemble. Otherwise the necklace and bag and attitude are great, but the denim just kills it!
"Is she doing 80s demin as a fashion statement, or did they never stop wearing 80s demin in Barcelona ? That washed out color – I didnt like it then and I still dont like it now…

the reason i read this blog is because the comments many times reflect how different fashion is in europe and america. this person who commented on camila possibly being stuck in the 80's, just has no clue that most countries in europe left 80's fashion way before the US did, but are also quicker to pick up on retro trends, such as the denim look.
denim is very hype in europe now i just think the pants have the wrong fit (it looks like the belt is holding the whole thing) and she's trying too just with the jacket being so oversized. Also, she needs a pair of great sunnies there.
She is awesome Looks so sexy and womanly, she wears the 80s inspiration well. I'd like to see this 80s trend for awhile, the supermodels back then all looked like Bond Girls!
Is the negative pattern topplet? No? Then it's not style, she's wearing the jacket and the jeans of her boyfriend … ;-) wonder how the boyfriend looks like … ;-)
"further proof that europeans have no idea how to wear jeans".
Sorry but I disagree. I personally think that we're more fashion-forward than our American counterparts. Regardless, I absolutely love Camila's look. She is so fresh and natural looking in a way that we're sadly unused to. Bella, bella, bella! Great picture, great lighting, great breasts!
She's gorgeous and yes, the lighting is breathtaking… My first thought was "No way did she just pull her helmet off that head" but I guess she could be walking back toward her bike. Not convinced about the look but I LOVE her watch (and kind of want it for myself…)
Normally I'm not for double denim but she definitely makes it work. I love her accessories and her personal style really shows through. You're so talented.
At first I couldn't stop looking at that necklace, but then I noticed all the tiny, amazing details… the broken belt, the helmet, the denim bravery, the matching but somehow clashing denim, and her naturally beautiful face and figure (no bra!?). Beautiful.

Not a huge fan of denim-on-denim, or the over sized pant and jacket, but the tousled look of her rolled up sleeves and popped collar really works when paired with her chic top and accessories… as others have said, the effortlessness of her look is great
shes not trying too hard! thats the way she is. fashion talking i would take away the jacket, but shes looking so confident! loooove the necklace. does anybody know where can i buy it? brand? not wearing a bra, never looked so good… i love barcelona btw
Hmm, I don't know… The necklace is definitely gorgeous and she does pull off the look. On the other hand, not sure the jeans fit her all that well. As for the cleavage, while i'm all for showing a bit, this bra-less and very low-cut shirt is maybe a bit too revealing. I mean, if she bends down, well… Not the type of look you can pull just anywhere…
Of course she is adorable, sexy, individual, but the denim is awful! The crotch bagginess is hideous. Top half is chic, cool and delightfully mischievous…should have cropped this photo.
she is very captivating. i agree that this look is comfortable/stylish – and I think she is the kind of woman who could wear a paper bag and rock it! her eyes and her neckline are really what draw me in to this photo
Am I the only one who is seeing how the tuck of her shirt is creating pleating that resonates from the center of her waist up to her chest…her look is incredibly sensual.
I dont think alot of people could pull this off, but somehow it works on her. I think its the bike helmet in the photo that offsets the denim for me. Shes rockin it though! http://tuxandtie.blogspot.com
She pulled off this look beautifully. I really approve of her style. This isn't a look that everyone could pull off, but she does because it is HER. She just feels comfortable in this look and it shows. Love all your pictures btw. I wonder if u read all of these comments? Im the 244th. I think.
This works as an image, but I doubt it will get a compliment out on the street- especially those mom jeans. Could it be this look is just getting props for being a contrast- a rebel- to previous trends and not because it really flatters the person wearing it? Moreover it lacks originality. I can see this outfit in an 80s mag. Going retro is ok, but it's too common nowadays. A cliche. Looking forward to something truly inspiring, unique and praiseworthy.
Something's wrong but I don't know what! Hair looks beautiful, helmet is nice but her outfit, though casual, seems too contrived. Top just looks horrible. Can think of a million things that would look so much better on this girl. Each to their own . . . . .
They're not mom jeans as much as they're boyfriend jeans, doncha think? Which makes sense w the boyfriend jacket? C'mon: how many women can go into their boyfriends' closets, pull out BOTH pants AND top and look so effortlessly stunning?
Also, I'm dying to see the bag (and, yes, the shoes) straight on: all that fashionable Spanish leather . . . .
Lotta, I totally agree with you!!! I have this discussion with my husband all the time!! I just bought a denim shirt and he is just not sure about it. I'm an Aussie chick living the US. With strong European influences so it can be really hard at times to get ppl to understand my fashion sense. But I stick to my gun. Anyway check out my latest blog posts. I have two blogs.
When you can't tell the difference between a picture taken in 1980 and one taken 30 years later, we're not talking retro trend. She is beautiful, though.
I know this girl!! I use to go to her fotolog and her friend's almost everyday, her photos were very good! and I love this pic! her outfit is so in these days
She looks awesome. I love her face, too. Everything! Have you already been asked to start listing what your subjects are wearing? What brands, designers, vintage used or new, etc.? And just simply put, too. Like a list?
terrible look! way too 70s retro! I like the 70s styles but when going retro you have to add something from TODAY or you like an extra in period file of that era! Lovely girl though!
I absolutely love it…but you have to have her confidence and awesome face and figure to pull this off! One of the above comments said it best, this may just be a "don't try this at home look"!
a glance of captivation, the elements thrown together to be a strong pulse, a rumbling beat beneath the mundane of the world of sweatpants; times like these, people like this, make an oklahoma girl want to flee to europe, a one way ticket of a lifetime
great light and very interesting woman…but…about her denim…they are definitely 80s..and I think that really few things may be saved from 80s look and…this kind of denim..definitely not… this seems to be the case of a woman who results handsome and attractive despite her clothes…
Camilita!!!! que mona! the great thing about her, is that she is a philosopher and doesnt think about her outfit for 1 hour…!!!! And her elegance comes from family, you just have to look at her mom and sisters…its a family of beauties!
I love this pic. The lighting really draws you into her face and highlights it's beauty. I love how she pairs a sexy tank with, what seems to be, possibly her husbands baggy jean jacket and bottoms. Maybe she used his belt as well, considering it's length. In any other case, I would probably hate these jeans, but she really works this look out. And the necklace is beautiful.
I also love how her relaxed yet claw positioned hand in her pocket reflects the claw-like necklace. Another hint of sexiness….ummahh..;) Was that intentional Sart?
She's beautiful, but I'm not a fan of the mom jeans nor should they ever accompany a jean jacket. The necklace is cool and works well with the belt. It reminds me of the 90's.
I´m from Barcelona and luv the vtg denim look. I had worn/combined the jacket with skinny jeans in a darker blue shade or a little vtg floral dress instead, anyway the girl looks great, is she native?.
I love the denim, love the fit of her jeans–they fit her well, just differently than the pants we find in mainstream stores. I especially think the jeans look sexy with her cleavage and popped collar. she owns it.
Quiet confidence, therefore all the more potent a look! It is not my usual style, yet her stance is very persuasive and enigmatic. The halo of light you have captured around her hair playfully contradicts its messy nature, a lovely shot!
Proves that mom jeans can work and that the 80s can still be stylish. Didn't Cybil Shepherd (remember her?) dress like this? Or am I thinking of the lanky model who did the Charlie commercials?
not many woman i feel can pull of denim with denim . i alsways go with the safer option of denim and some other form of material. I love this outfit. great combo. i love the fringe bag also

She is indeed pretty with pretty hair. But man, do those jean give her baggy-crotch like crazy. And that top does nothing for her probably great body. And the denim jacket/shirt is too stiff to be shapeless.
Good picture. Bad outfit.

ohhh, there's something exciting I see in her.

Other than a stunning woman and gorgeous back-light, two other things make this shot sing:
The necklace and the chemise! (with the right amount of skin.)
Not too crazy about the bag. Would liked to have seen something super snotty, treated with nonchalance by this vision in denim.

Congratulations for your fabulous work!!

I kind of love it, but only because it's so crazily middle-America/1980s/Wayne's World/hippie-rocker-influenced…
I guess her hair, necklace, bag, watch and (maybe) shoes take the look somewhere new for you? Interesting to see Barcelona getting on the "so ugly/dated it's chic again" bandwagon.

you all missed the point…the focus is not the denim on denim, it's her sheer low cut tank top and how it shows her natural breasts…we are so overwhelmed by boob jobs that when we see the real things it gives the woman that "je ne sais pas"… she is glowing, gorgeous, sexy whatever and the unique neck piece helps too…

comments like this makes my day:
"Is she doing 80s demin as a fashion statement, or did they never stop wearing 80s demin in Barcelona ?
That washed out color – I didnt like it then and I still dont like it now…
RJT"
the reason i read this blog is because the comments many times reflect how different fashion is in europe and america. this person who commented on camila possibly being stuck in the 80's, just has no clue that most countries in europe left 80's fashion way before the US did, but are also quicker to pick up on retro trends, such as the denim look.
i love it.

So many good things about this girl.
She isn't trying to be fashion trendy; just dressing in a way that SHE likes. Conseqently avoiding all that fashion victim gear. What a relief.
Lovely girl. Great necklace. Lovely combo of blue and tan.

denim is very hype in europe now i just think the pants have the wrong fit (it looks like the belt is holding the whole thing) and she's trying too just with the jacket being so oversized. Also, she needs a pair of great sunnies there.

Sorry but I disagree. I personally think that we're more fashion-forward than our American counterparts. Regardless, I absolutely love Camila's look. She is so fresh and natural looking in a way that we're sadly unused to. Bella, bella, bella! Great picture, great lighting, great breasts!

Hm, what about the fact that she doesn't wear a bra? It doesn't look like a coincidence, it looks like a statement.
Is it coming back, wearing tops without bras? Ok for us women with small breasts (?), but I have to admit: I didn't see this one coming.
(Btw: I totally agree with Lotta's comment on American vs European relations to 80s/denim/retro-fashion pick up).

The necklace is definitely gorgeous and she does pull off the look.
On the other hand, not sure the jeans fit her all that well.
As for the cleavage, while i'm all for showing a bit, this bra-less and very low-cut shirt is maybe a bit too revealing. I mean, if she bends down, well… Not the type of look you can pull just anywhere…

I love this pic. The lighting really draws you into her face and highlights it's beauty. I love how she pairs a sexy tank with, what seems to be, possibly her husbands baggy jean jacket and bottoms.
