I actually find the man standing to her right a bit more interesting. His chartreuse-coloured pocket square against that wonderful suit pattern is just outstanding. Plus that multi-coloured tie he is wearing picks up on that chartreuse very nicely. I’d say he’s the real star of this shot.
This, in a nutshell, is why tailored camel coats are classics–they’re aesthetically pleasing in and of themselves, flatter many body types, and work with just about anything. (That said, I’m grooving on the look of the gentleman to her right. Is that Hamish Bowles?)
There is so much to enjoy in this street scene photo, where to start? Without a doubt this woman is the star of the show. If you combine her hair color, the camel coat (is it hers or one of the super lucky guys) those super cool shoes and her unbelieveable legs, what a beautiful vision. No wonder there seems to be a bit of a traffic jam! mr. john
Firstly, Mr Bowles – just always immaculate, isn’t he … that gorgeous kerchief. The lovely girl, definitely a case of a safe but completely on the money choice of colour for a mid season coat for London. The very blonde hair and perfect tan legs keep it all fresh and neatly keyed off with the solid black shoes. Knock out! B
While I of course recognize Meredith Melling Burke and Hamish Bowles of US Vogue, you’ve chosen to photograph two of the smiliest editors from the magazine, which I love. Meredith always has a sweet, impish smirk on (whether on the mouth or evoked in the eyes) and Hamish always seems to have an ear-to-ear grin. Great photo, thanks for sharing it.
