I love how she works her curves. Overall, nice contrast but the boots don't work for me. She might as well have put on running shoes – same effect. Needs a more edgy boot or sandal to pull off the look in my opinion. But hey, I haven't had coffee yet either..
Love the attitude and the lines of her body… she's accented them well. Also, I can imagine the flip of her hair that would have happened in the moment following this picture… Nice shoes, nice jacket, nice jeans! Nice!
i love that she looks so relaxed and confident… the black leather jacket makes the outfit worth it. it gives her a more dramatic and rebel touch that matches the rest of the clothes perfectly. simple yet it stands out. lovely!
I love to see your photos; your world view is so much more fun than the mainstream fashion that I see published/recommended/pushed generally speaking. Your blog gives me confidence for the more interesting get-ups I get-out in. I live in Calgary, AB., Canada where we presently have another several inches of snow…sigh….it is definitely not always easy to be fashionable and/or trendy here as the main objective is usually to simply stay warm and safe. Love your blog!
this is a perfect example of less is more, but the key to less is having a great body. i'm not big on dress sizes, but being toned and proportioned (like this fine specimen here) is necessary. otherwise…
I like this look. I have white jeans, a little lower on the hips, but I always wear them with a cover up. Now I can try this with a white sweater, tucked in. I'm not fond of the black leather biker jacket though, never have been.
She rocks it! I really like the way you show us her movement even in a static photo. She appears in the middlee of an ordinary city street, saying: Hello, I'm here, but I'm not wasting my time on you XD xoxo
The headphones cord is a blemish on her"look". Her statuesque beauty matches her clothes, oh but that black cord! Maybe if the headphones were white and worn more discreetly, she wouldn't feel compeled to put her hand on her head. Prince St. & Broalway gets good photo lighting mid-morning, don't it?
Sandy? Grease? 70s light? I don't get any of that. How is light 70s? Maybe the darkish exposure/old Kodachrome effect. Love white jeans. Actress/model/dancer most likely. Don't think she works in a cube.
So, to my eye, this is a little tacky and not particularly original. There are evenings when I'm headed to a dive bar and I enjoy looking just a little tacky, but early in the morning…well, unless you're Erin Brokovich or something this is not what I'd put on. Yes, she has a very fit, strong body and gorgeous hair, but impersonating a 1980s Bon Jovi song is not my style. And I just don't find those boots flattering on anyone. Kudos on the lighting and ambiance of the photo though!
I am also seeing a little Kelly McGillis in Top Gun. The scene where she is standing by the Karmann? Kelly wasn't wearing jeans, but a white shirt and a leather flight jacket. Same contrast. When my son saw that scene at the age of ten he said, "Wow." He wasn't exactly sure why, but he knew it was cool.
Almost kinda'~sorta' looks like a younger Lauren Hutton to me.
Huge fan of her look and the photograph. As someone mentioned, I particularly like timeliness of this image; it could have been shot in 1983, 1993, 2003, or 2013
Love her look. Very sexy. Bella figura. Body like WHOA! Almost everything works here for me. The hair, the t-shirt, the white jeans, the leather jacket, even the headphone cord doesn't bother me. I like the color of the boots however, they look like Uggs and, me no likey Uggs. Very well done. Just an overall great weekend look.
