Not only are the jeans unusual but the light wash is really unusual. Everything has been dark, dark wash for the last few years. Can’t mistake her for wearing the “mom jeans” though; especially with the great fit and the ultra-it Givenchy hand bag.
with her legs she could be wearing a paper bag and still look great. but i agree with the comment that this is not a very inspired look. but it is classic, and a classic done well is worth just as much.
Amazing how she manages to look so funky in an outfit that could go so horribly wrong (stilettos and tight jeans!) if just one detail is out of place. Even the bag size is perfect (too small would be overly precious, too big would be precarious).
I wonder if she had the jeans tailored like that…she must have…can’t imagine finding anything that perfect-fitting off the rack.
This is a look made for her, or she is made for this look … sure, with those legs and that face, she could look good in anything, but she looks *better* in this one … and yes, this look could go very wrong on the wrong person!
i think its strange that i’m posting to this blog. i’m a straight married 34 year old architect with a recent interest in fashion. i’ve been watching the sartorialist blog for a couple weeks, but never felt compelled to post. but now…did you happen to get that girl’s name and number. good god. i’ll rise above my animal nature long enought to say…nice outfit. i like it a lot. nice shoes, too. but those legs. and that smile….ouch.
