This man is an employee of the Beijing Ancient Cultural Relics Research Institute (emblazoned on the back of his jacket). Cool uniform, no?

Hmmm… this sort of “arctic camouflage” was popular among women when I was living in eastern Germany about 10 years ago. I didn’t care for it then, and I’m not lovin’ it in this picture.

as a regular visiting Beijing – this is actually a genious picture – taken in its context of who mr camo is – he will proberbly never have been outside his provence or looked at a fashion magazine , and trust me this is not a usual sight to see a man of his age in this type of clothing – usually it is closer to a mao suit for everyday or utility work . so scott you did it again and found something totally unexpected in beijing _ — beijing people , take note ok !!! its not nyc (yet)
