really great portrait – I love her feet in this, along with the plaement of her hands it seems at once natural and slightly nervous.

She's adorable! Her stance is too cute. And the classic black and white is great. The photograph is perfect, with the red truck, tree trunk and bicycles, and the color of the buildings washed out.

What classic chic – I know there will never be another but I must say that she evokes a modern day Audrey or Jean Seberg.

Perfect. The shirt is simple but unique and worn skillfully. I love when women look like this; innocent in a young girlish way while still being sophisticated and stylish. The flats kill as well.

She's a cute mix of goofiness and… uh, I'm not sure what else but I like it.

She looks like she's about to trip over her own two feet. The love child of Audrey Hepburn and Marmaduke.

Great legs, nice 'do, radiant smile.

I like to wear shoes that I could run in if I were being chased. She could run fast in these shoes with her full skirt and hair being swept back.

Some of your photographs are exactly what I would take pictures of.

You know how to have rapport with masses of people through your work… so wonderful.

The girl and her clothes are lovely, even though I doubt she can run in those shoes, as someone suggested she could.

As to the whimsical foot maneuver, is this the natural development of the pigeon toe strike which so devoured the fashion world's female feet? I do hope not.

How many posts and I'm the only frowner?

  85. tiffany

    July 15, 2009 at 2:09 am

I must be the only one who finds her stance irritatingly coy and her outfit uninteresting and unflattering … I do like the shoes, though.

I find it interesting that so many people commented on the "pose"…

Am I the only who noticed her skirt is blowing up?

She's catching it at the front and back…look to the left see how it's blowing? The bent in knee is a modest reflex…she's trying to keep her knickers from showing!

Zuccotto, I am of the same opinion. The stance is irritating and the castor smile doesn't help. There is an over-abundance of contrived and calculated cuteness which grates at the nerves.

By the way, the pigeon toe stance must be eradicated from the industry. I have spoken!

one question: the girl is very pretty, and i like her clothes & shoes, why is she standing there like this with twisted feet?

  149. Martina

    July 6, 2012 at 1:31 pm

Adorable. I love the way she is standing. Its totally her, and it shows. A real gamine beauty in every way!!!! Some people just dislike anything that isn’t reminiscent t of a ball breaking beyotch. Well get over it. A youthful frankness is wonderful. The eternal feminist quest for “strength” has been shown to be a sham. Strength is in cooperation, not competition.
I love this sexy fresh schoolgirl. And I don’t love cynical detractors.
