This is a great example of how to wear black in summer. The fabric weights were spot on but more important was the overall fit – shorter, slimmer and more athletic makes black seem less oppressive in the warm months.

Black is okay. Great t-shirt and pants. But the shoes: I don’t like it at all. Fine brown leather shoes would match better. :-)

I just had the pleasure of seeing this gentleman in the exact spot on 5th Ave (just in front of BG)were the picture was taken and he was wearing the very same black togs. It was his photographed image come to life..was a strange virtual reality thing…I did the ultimate triple take. I mentioned that I recognized him…and he was flattered and amused….In the midtown rush on a hot day he made black look striking, cool and crisp.
