First thought: HOT! Not as in “yowza!” but more like moisture running down your lower back. Second: she just popped out of Supercuts mid-color to replenish the meter. Then: what would one call those shoes? They remind me of the girl in 6th grade who drew horses all over her binder. Finally: I’m sure her outfit was very expensive, and this girl is gorgeous.
Amazing! And its all about the casual pose, expression and shoes, as if wearing a rumpled, short, sack-like – yet totally chic – black leather dress is the most normal thing in the world.
Something is quite lost in this picture. It isn´t the girl, who looks ok,but I think the leather dress is not suitable for summer and the shoes just spoil the whole photo. Sorry.
To me this is true style. Man, she looks great and in a look that is all her own.
Have to say that the Stockholm photos have been the best in the year that I have been visiting your blog. Sodermalm, Ostermalm, wherever. Just such unique pairings and personal style.
She is beautiful, but the dress…..well….not so much. Although I think she would’ve looked better coupling it with some killer heels. It’d give the whole outfit a bit more attitude, which it deserves. But I guess she wanted to be more comfortable.
I am seeing a lot of this Black Leather Dress and I do not like it at all. I have approached it from every angle and I can not wrap my head around this item.
I do however like the shoes and this seasona Jil Sanders does it best.
a trapeze leather dress, a long patent clutch and jazz shoes, probably Repetto, this girl is a styling maven. again, bravo to confidence and individuality.

it takes a very secure woman to dress like that, and she totally pulls it off

Acne-jeans dress maybe?
I don’t know if I like that dress that much, I wouldn’t buy it, that’s a fact.
She works at Weekday, she always has a great sense of style.

I love that she’s got short sleeves, and the shoes are perfect.

Wow, she’s pretty. But I honestly don’t appreciate what the shape of the dress does to her silhouette.
Keep up the great work, Sart.

Great shape dress, and interesting contrast between the 3 leathers: matte, patent, and suede.

You’d have to be really daring to try all this leather and risk looking like an evil hairdresser (Sweeney Todd?) But somehow, I get it.

The flat jazz-dance shoes are key to keeping this outfit grounded.
Wearing heels would push it all toward costume and be too serious.
She’s created an impossibly carefree summer look with a black leather dress!
Amazing.

I love everything except the patent clutch. For me, the buttery dress makes the clutch look cheaper than it probably is.
People with this skin tone can almost always pull off chunkier black shoes with a mini–so they get to be chic AND comfortable. So jealous.

I am intrigued with the material/fabric. I think it’s brilliant to use something like this for a simple, delicate dress. What a contrast!!

That dress looks like the vinyl cape they put on you at the salon. She’s beautiful so it looks okay. I’m not crazy about it at all.

ITA Belinda.
Some heels would make this ensemble fierce. I think that the jazz shoes fall “flat.”
Gorgeous girl though.
