that outfit lives from the coat…i like it in a way. except for the shoes and the vest hes wearing under the coat. but all in all well done! i like black a lot and i like to see it come up so often in this blog!!! greets eric
the statue in the background mirrors his own statuesque pose. i love how he plays with the old-worldliness of his coat’s shape by layering with a high-necked jacket. humorous and effective.
Great look. Maybe, just maybe, no one will say “I hope to look like that when I get to be his age,” as is often the case when someone older that 25 is featured here. Style is timeless, not the exclusive domain of the young. -John, SF, 52.
Great choice ! The tuxedo-collared coat is fabulous ! The look is demure (the mix of colours ; ton-sur-ton) but very strong ! Love it – love it – LOVE it !!
finally, to my surprise…this one not so much. he seems to aware that this photo is happening. otherwise, kudos for highlighting the white hairs who still know better than most of us. are the older women still holding it down with fashion?
Isn´t this the somewhat famous swedish fashion designer Rohdi Heinz? He was big in the 70s. (He was a neighbour when I was growing up and it shure does look like him) He is a super minimalist, does not want anything to distract as i recall it..
I love his coat, the lapels are fantastic. Would it be OK if I featured the picture of the guy with the painted nails on my blog, y’know, just a short “I love this picture” post?
Very nice and elegant coat. The cut is perfect. I love the photo in an ordinary position, smoking, with a glove in a hand…normal person acting like a professional model
One thing is obvious- He is charming and elegant. second thing is the undoubtedly interesting proud on his face. All the features make him look as a beautiful statue. The one which will grasp your attention among the crowd.
This is my grandfather ! How could I not have seen this picture before, strange… But he is pretty cool, isn't he ? Like the shoes by the way, blundstones, best shoes ever, got the same one's myself, but brown. You know, it runs in the familly…

That looks like a tuxedo jacket because of the collar, but it’s not. I love it, and I like is style a lot.

Black on black on black. Would have looked more dramatic with black gloves. Cigarette adds to his look too.

What a killer shot.
The background suits him perfectly…something very funereal in the combination of statue, tree branches, and all black garb.
I love his expression and in-the-momentness. The opening frame of a film?
