You can never over-enthuse the power of a sharp suit. Imagine Beppe in some saggy old cords and thermofleece jumper… not so lovely. But in this slick attire he is a silver fox if ever there was one. X
Q.BELLO! That's a suit! Nailhead pattern? tie that is fantastic. The continuing blue period of Sart. is causing me to intensify my search for a blue pin/chalk stripe suit. Wish we could see the whole suit/shoes. Miraviglioso.
No matter the age the Italians make it look effortless. So classic without forcing anything. Its remarkable that their attire is the same attire a 25 year old gentlemen would be wearing. A suit with beautiful material and exquisite tailoring along with a touch of independent style. Simply beautiful.
i can't believe i never thought to crease the tie with a pin to rise like that. that's genius. or perhaps i haven't noticed it done before. now that's attention to detail that he created. is that a safety pin? if so, that's pretty awesome and dare i say, a bit of punk rock aesthetic
Great suit, great accessories, great tie, the works. Beppe is always dressed perfectly. Hope he is wearing Tropical weight here, its still so very hot in Italy! I love the rich color blue of his shirt. Lovely! The Italians have a "I don't give a d – - n whether it's cooled down or not, I'm dressing for Fall". Love this attitude.
Beppe is trim and elegant. He wears his years with style and grace. And yes please, write a book on style for men and I will personally sell it where I live.Help is needed here.
So many clothing choices look good but don't make me pause. A man who dresses like so immaculately and then adds a safety pin – that intrigues me and makes me want to know more about who he is. Especially with a stare like that. May men like Beppe be around in a few years when I need them.
Nice photo and great yet subtle style. Love how the tie vorresponds to the freckled shiny head. But what's going on with the shoulders? Is the seam rolled back or something? Unusual cut.
Bravo Beppe! You look great! This man is elegante and understated. Remember the some days ago post with the guy in Florence wiht a gold Rolex, two Gold rings and a Vertu mobile phone? That guy should look at this gentleman and learn something about being elegant and don't be flashy.
yes, please, a men's style guide it would be a great idea. I have a little men's boutique i Tenerife, (Canary Island) and although we buy and go Pitti your blog is a continous inspiration for me when I expose the clothes. thank you very muchh.
Beppe is a true man of style and gentility, with impeccible manners. I truly enjoyed working with him at Tiffany & Co. His trademark red socks are a fantastic symbol of his verve against the grain.
is it a safety pin or an antique tie pin? Don't they wreck the silk? Still it would be worth it as it gives the tie some (as you would say) "sprezzatura"! Why are we so afraid of ties these days? I predict a big come-back.
Not forgetting or allowing those in control to disregard the source in which they gained their money or their power for the power is the people, not just one man. We have to have strength to do what is ahead of us; power comes from many and power can be exposed ‎and seized by those who allowed it to be in the hands of those in that position. We forgetwho it is that has the power. Lets us our power to rightfully regain that which has nearly been stripped from our grasp.

I do not think his tie is just ruffled up. I think he fixed it that way to let the plain matching color part emerge from under the pattern.
