J’aime the leather jacket + the trench of the 1st pic, the same color hat + coat of the 2nd pic, the perfect dress with the perfect bag of the 3rd, the perfect hair of the 4th, the perfect eyes of the 5th, the nice nails of the 6th, the perfect coat and smile of the 7th, the sunglasses of the 8th, the glitter jacket of the 9th, and the boxes of the 8th : perfect outfits :) http://taimemode.blogspot.fr
What in the world does “What is #3 supposed to be” mean? The stigma–the very notion–of “cross dressing” is so stale. Is the “transgression” really tangible? Do you really care? Why? Do you really need to cut someone down for bravely expressing themselves through clothing?
I love the look of tights on a man. Men can have beautiful legs, too! I am always inspired by the sight of an individual making a deliberate, conscious decision to wear what s/he wants to wear, irrespective of social norms. It doesn’t even matter if I like what they are wearing!
Hahahaa.. so funny that people try to take as much as they can away from the Chanel shopping mall… but hey it is Chanel. Karl managed to create one of those sale shopping craze moments between fashion people!
Loved it all!
#1 Fantastic textured jacket: golf ball crossed with tire tread
#2 Favorite ensemble: clean, not trying too hard but just enough
#3 Walking Rorshach test – I see a butterfly… a very busy butterfly
#5 Toned thighs make anything look sexy… even a coat with a bow
#7 The ubiquitous cell phone – Caroline needs to unplug from her ubiquitous fans
#9 A jacket to be seen under a winter sun
As long as it doesn’t hurt anyone, or it doesn’t causes any kind of suffering , anyone can do what they want. So anyone can wear what they want as well. There’s nothing brave in the outfit worn by person #3; it does attract attention, because it is unusual in everyday life; we already think in categories, patterns, labels, systems, and anything which is only slightly outside the norms will cause some kind of unrest to our minds. When will our minds cease to be startled by variety; I am actually amazed at my own conformity, it s quite difficult to accept the complexity of reality , obviously…even outfits can still surprise us a bit, how un- evolved our minds are.
I can see why you took a picture of HIM! Fashion is simply mad and he must have spent months building up to that moment and lucky for him you were around to snap it! I mean he looks completely and utterly ridiculous but fashion week is fashion week so we can let him off! x
