I understand your point, but seriously… “personal branding”? She’s a person with style, not an object up for sale or a company trying to attract customers. The increasing shift of current discourse to commodity/consumption-based terminology is, for me, seriously unnerving.
I love absolutely everything about this except for her haircut, which I appreciate is edgy; I just don’t think it’s flattering. But I love her outfit, the way her hair colour and shoe colour kind of “vertically bookend” her dark dress, and I love seeing the photogs blended out in the background. Great shot.
