Love the shoes with the socks, something about it is very glamorous yet very earthy and banal. Great shot, Scott!
And hey, I took a good shot of you too(hope you like it), before the Chanel show in Paris: http://cairo-paris.blogspot.com/2011/10/sartorialist.html
This is all kinds of fabulousness! Love how the tattoo picks up the sense of the drawings on her skirt, the classic bag with just a touch of edge (chain straps), and of course those SHOES!! Great shot!
Wow… the way those figures marching across her skirt echo her tattoo fanned across her upper arm… This photograph is full of contrasts and depth. Gorgeous, Scott!
Who knew that drawing cartoons with sharpy could make a perfectly beautiful dress disposable? Love what she was aiming for and she does look beautiful but that poor poor dress.
She is a Miu Miu lover… Miu miu matelasse bag match with Miu Miu glitter sandals (not of this season). Interesting contrast in style between bag/shoes and skirt/tattoo
Oh my, that skirt gave me the idea of letteing friends contribute on the design of one of my skirts. Just give them a pen in their hand and letting them draw or write something, like the way you used to get drawings och sayings on a plaster.
Interesting in that it’s heavy and light at the same time. One of the prettiest tattoos I’ve seen. She should not get any more because it’s beautiful in its one-ness. Wonder what the fur piece is.
That skirt together with that cut of blouse and waist looks so 1950′s! I absolutely love it!!!! I was watching ‘Pan Am’ and its the same silhouette but better. I love how the socks match the nail polish too. This is def a look i would like to do!
This is Paris and I love it. But I’ve always detested socks in sandals or open shoes so I force myself not to look at her feet.
Greetings from Amsterdam.
This is one of my favorites- From the dog in her lap, the cut of her hair, her lovely tat across her shoulder, the surprising socks with the shoes. Her smile gestures beyond the cute skirt; it tells us not only she is pleased to photographed but, yes, she is happy with how she looks. Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!
Her hair is so fantastic. I love the color and the cut. Her shoes with the chunky red socks are also fantastic. Great photo. http://fashionablyawkwardr.blogspot.com/
I am actually in awe of this. Perhaps I shall rummage about in my closet for a similar skirt, but the hair and the shoes and the nails and the everything just (to be honest) humble me.
