I used to do the same when I attended HS of Fashion Ind. I wore my projects proudly!

Good for her! I might have hemmed the bottom as the sleeves are hemmed but maybe this was her statement.

The burgundy Docs go great with the dress. Brings out her fair complexion.

If that’s not Tavi Gevinson surely it’s her doppelgänger.

Beautiful. I love her handbag in particular and how it’s the perfect accessory to the dress she created.

I kinda like the un-hemmed bottom, it adds a little edge to an otherwise really classic shape. Great shot!

Gung go shoes often look daft but the Docs heighten her femininity. She looks great.

I like the un-hemmed bottom of the dress with the Docs : sweet and tough.

That style of shift would look great on most body types. I’m intrigued by how effortless it is. Plus it is an interesting fabric choice for summer. Well done.

The dress and boots are great on her! The unhemmed, thread-dangling bottom keeps the dress from skewing cutesie-precious, so the vibe stays cool. If she were carrying a battered old black leather or canvas bag the ensemble would be complete for me.

It’s very nice but she forgot to hem it.
What does all this having “edge” actually mean? I just don’t know.

Great style and awesome dress – love how the bottom part looks, mostly because it’s un-hemmed.

I think the shoes keep it from being too sweet; the dress would look better hemmed.

Luv the fabric plaid and color, cool with threads hanging. I am sure some big designer will copy the off the shoulder puff sleeve with cuff. You see this when people are too cheap to alter their vintage finds and it looks bad. She made the sleeve hit at the right spot so it looks complimentary. Hope to reads these comments and continues. Adorable waif.

    Thanks Scott!
