It’s not awesome, or amazing, or original or nice it just looks silly. He doesn’t carry it off at all, only someone of David Bowie’s calibre can do this.
Exciting color for a shearling coat, especially with those boots. The fur trimmed piece is more of an accessory than a garment. Considering the rest of the outfit I remember
Coco Chanel’s motto ” Look in the mirror before you leave and remove one accessory.”
Or maybe two.
Love the colours! And the bag worn under the coat- not sure if it’s deliberate but I do this all the time (accidentally, mostly) and love the look of it peeping out here :)
This is my boyf! for anyone who has commented on the coat, thought it might be useful to know that it’s an old(ish) Loewe one that we found in brand-new condition on Portobello market!
I’m really digging this look! Part vaquero, part guarani, with a hint of DDL in There will be blood… a modern take on 70s flair. Hard to pull off but he exudes both strength/manliness and enough of an easy-going vibe for it to not seem over the top or uncomfortable.
However, I have a feeling that once the coat is off, it just feels very hippyish (not that it’s a bad thing), notwithstanding the fact that we are in the dark about the fur-trimmed tunic’s arm length (batwings, long sleeve, short sleeve or sleeves Ă la The Flinstones?), so I guess all the ingredients have to be present for it to work as a look… in other words, that gorgeous luxurious coat really ties that outfit together.
Well done sir!
P.S.: that’s two gorgeous men’s shearling coats you’ve shared as of recently. You’re already halfway there for a “If you’re thinking about men’s shearling coats” entry.

The coat as a stand-alone piece is great. The rest is all a bit too tribal for my liking. Interesting nevertheless.

The LV bag unnecessarily feminizes it a little too much for my taste. So does the (fun?) fur trimming
