Such a beautiful girl! Looks a bit like the girl I posted from stockholm Sweden on my street style blog! Take a look, its growing and going to be big! http://www.johannasthlm.blogspot.com
Absolutely stunning photo – she looks so serene, as if from another time and place. I adore the entire outfit, effortless, chic, timeless yet modern. Sigh. LOVE.
This is just wow, it came out so beautifully its feels so unreal. The way you captured the photo its unbelievable, this is true art form. If you get a chance do check out my blog, I have interesting fashion posts you might love to read.
Inspirational!! Love this shot and the light is beautiful.
Last weekend I set foot in New York City for the first time and it was a whirlwind 24 hour experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed your pictures and have soaked it all in. It was amazing as I walked the streets with my camera and captured moments that I will never forget. Thank you for sharing yours as well.
Hi, Sart,
The fur detail looks great on her.
Have you seen (or could you post) and examples of menswear with fur details?
….I’d enjoy seeing how fellas work that into their ensembles.
Beautiful light. Unfortunately the cyan/magenta fringing in tree branches is distracting. Those aberrations can be automatically removed in processing.
The ‘Ottoman’ style of dress with a modern knit cap is perfection… It goes without saying (but I’d like you to keep sharing these shots, so praise need be public) that when you capture someone beneath that kind of dusk light (?), it evokes a wonderful, romantic aspect of winter. Thanks for this one
As a new New Yorker, I have to say I really love this photo… As many of your others, it captures the beauty of the city and the people, which are sometimes difficult to see in the rush and chaos of the city. I think this image represents what photography should be about.
I love this photo. There’s such an otherworldly feel to it, on behalf of the amazing lighting. And I love the behind-the-scenes shot of this photo that Pedro Vega Jr managed to get.
Wow. The lighting is incredible. I’m one to comment on very many posts, no matter how much I like them. But I had to with this one. Gorgeous girl, and clothes to begin with, and that lighting makes her breathtaking. Nicely done capturing this one.
I love the way you shoot your pictures now, with surrounding people in the background. It’s not just a picture of a beautifully dressed person but it’s a little story :)

Wooah what a stunning shot! It is kind of magical. There’s something so special, I felt like I am in some modern fairy tale, the light, her expression everything is perfect!
Truly magical……the St Marks Hotel looks desirable…….the light is exquisite…. truly sharp NY light and her skirt…….a throw back to the Ukrainian community
Your photographs are amazing, you always manage to have the people you pick stand out so much in the photo and I am guessing you don’t have a lot of time for that either. I think you are the master of street shooting. This is a proof of it, it looks like out of an editorial section in a magazine :)
<3 So
The patterns, collars, & pastel colors of these clothes are so refreshing. The women look so dainty & sophisticated, yet exhibit sex appeal at the same time. I’m so glad vintage & vintage inspired collections are booming on the runways & fashion magazines more than ever. Check out the unique collection @ http://www.5StackVintage.com. The pieces are right on point (leather & furs are my favorite) & the prices are uneatable.
Big fan, but altho I agree with all comments about the back light’s beauty, it does look like an ad campaign shot that was set up and also lit somehow from the front, no? Background photo by Vega, Jr seems to give impression of a shot being discussed…..just curious.
The girl inspires me tranquility among the other people who are moving around and the light you’ve applied makes her stand out and look so so fresh, pretty outfit… to make the long story short una foto preciosa!
I swear, I walk by Astor Place all the time, but there something magical about this picture that you were able to capture!!! You changed my perspective of St. Marks with this lovely photograph!
Ciao…
First of all I wish to thank you. I really love most of your pictures, and my sentiments towards the others are of simply admiration. I am looking on your blog for more than a year and today is the first time when I decide to write some words.
The picture is divine even magical.
Absolutely love your blog, its content, its photos, its heart is so true. I love the way you capture the world of style the way you see it. The world needs more people like you. Thank you xxx
Amazing photograph, the focus is very clever as this gives an amazing depth. The lighting is incredible as the sun is facing the camera from the right.

This look like Philip Lorca diCorcia. Beautiful. Raising the bar of street style photography as ever.

First of all I wish to thank you. I really love most of your pictures, and my sentiments towards the others are of simply admiration. I am looking on your blog for more than a year and today is the first time when I decide to write some words.

Wonderful. Looks like there was a festival. This outfit looks like it could have been a coincidence.

That skirt has an uncanny resemblance to the ajrak design pattern. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajrak

I love this photo- it’s so theatrical! The only thing that doesn’t seem to belong is the take-away coffee. Almost seems like she’s advertising for it.

Amazing photograph, the focus is very clever as this gives an amazing depth. The lighting is incredible as the sun is facing the camera from the right.
