    Very cute and very stylish! I can’t tell if they are 11 years old or 17 year old though, although the look would work for either age. I especially like her straw purse and straw hat.

    I especially like the innocence of this picture portrays.
    I appreciate how nothing goes together but everything goes together in the way the Japanese are so great at doing. I wish I had a wee bit of this nack in my own wardrobe :)

    can’t believe you were in Tokyo!
    Tokyo’s got a distinct style. But the girls like to copy.
    It’s the sub-trend that’s really interesting and creative.
    BTW, there’s a great burger place in Omotesando Hills, not far from Aoyama. Maybe you can check it out.

    It’s interesting to see the major western influence here and how it’s been embedded into the Japanese culture and re-interpreted. We see trends in Europe and America inspired by other cultures, but don’t really think about how distinctly western cultural markers are received elsewhere.

    Sorry “Kionon”, 東 becomes TO-　(とう), not TO. Don’t play internet police if you are not ready for it.

    And Tokio is the correct spelling, at least in Spanish. I guess the guy can do with his own blog as he pleases, right?
