I shot something like this a few weeks ago. Again notice the jeans are rolled, not the 2 inch wide folded cuff we have seen on unwashed denim but more like how you roll a shirt sleeve.

We used to roll our jeans up like this in the late 80s, when I was about eleven… The worst part is that we used to roll our (fluoro) socks down at the same time. A bad, bad look.
Therefore: I don’t think I can like this look, no matter how much I try.

I like it.
I also like how you would expect someone a bit more “shaggy” or rocker looking to wear this look, but he looks clean and almost trad. from the neck up… love it!
