It’s continually inspiring to see the respect Anna has for her fans, and that she is so sincerely honored by their appreciation. Anna lacks the blasĂ© gene, which is refreshing for a fashion icon.

This photo of Anna on the steps is my favourite pic on the Sartorialist blog so far this year ! I love the polish and consideration she brings to dressing up and the fact that she is a patron to many designers showcasing looks that deserve to be noticed on everyday streets and not just in magazines or on catwalks.

She is heart, joy, light, fearlessness, charmingly funny, enthusiastic, brilliant, disciplined, generous…the definition of loving kindness!! I remember her early days on blog scene…when editors became stars….and she just ran with the ball…ah, gown…and keeps running and laughing and loving with those fabulous legs!
Our Scott (yea Scott!), started it all for her new ” fashion star career”, as the world’s happiest self proclaimed “fashion victim’ right here on “The Sartorialist”!
Her huge heart and non-jaded joie de vivre, might have something to do with her daily rigourous ashtanga yoga practice….and hour long swim! Or maybe she was just “Born This Way” (she was). In between FW’s, and EAL of Vogue Japan (largest distribution Vogue), she spends much of her time (when not dancing her heart out and DJing).. at the ashram in India!
And in a few weeks (Oct 4th, I think)…her over the top, only Anna , accessories collection will probably be bought up in seconds at H&M. It is a brilliant collection of her favorite color…. gold, bejeweled gold and more….ta da.. gold… after all, “more is more”, especially when it comes to gold! Thrilling collection!

She looks great here – but sometimes not. For instance…she was photographed wearing a black “bandage” dress recently that looked like a bathing suit. I know she is very thin…too thin…but she isn’t young, and no one past the age of 21 should be wearing a dress as short as that black dress.
Not on the street, anyway!
