She has a history of beautiful style. And although I LOVE her accessories, pose, hair, and SHOES – the dress doesn't seem terribly well-fitting. Anyone agree?
I cannot understand why otherwise chic women like this insist on wearing their hair like a Miley Cyrus-obsessed, mall-haunting midwestern 13-year old. SO boring.
She is fabulous! As always… Apart from incredible taste and gorgeous wardrobe, she's got such a stunning figure to die for. I am getting greener and greener with envy. :)
Her jewelry, glasses, and shoes are tacky. The dress would have looked better on someone with lower shoes, not so much extravagant jewelry, and without the silly (and unoriginal) glasses.
I felt so deprived of not being able to see your blog when my internet was down, I had no idea what I should wear. Luckily I guess the dress I wore a while ago was still in style (looking at this picture) :D
Shoes are dreamy. Not a huge lover of the dress. It does not look well made and wrinkly in the wrong places. She is a lovely woman though with great legs.
I was in Milan just a few weeks ago and I ran into her at school. I didnt inmediately know who she was, but then I figured where I had seen her before… this blog ! She looks even better in person. She´s like the real life version of Carrie Bradshaw.
This was woman has been completely successful in softening her look in no time flat. She looks more girlish, feminine and happy. I like this side of Anna.I love edgy but it never suited her well. Dark and brooding is best for Carine.
I agree with 8:53- the fit in the bustier isn't the best. The fabric of the dress doesnt help matters either. I really love the apricot tone in the shoes and her accessories- lovely.
I like this! The dress is quite plain, bu has an amazing cut and stucture, while the jewellery balances out the colour. And I think I may love those shoes.. They are completely gorgeous!
I'm not sure I like the color of the Louboutins— they are so close to her skin tone… The dress is great although I agree that the fit may be a bit off. Perhaps it's the way she's turning? Can someone id it?
Perfection in every way, however, with one simple, nagging request. I simply don't care for Bulgari nor most gold jewelry. Something more subtle, simple, better taste would please me. Somehow, such a spectacular looking, woman of this level of chic hardly needs anything, let alone two bracelets. Thank you! Robert
Having only just left my own comment, I read the others. I'm mystified by the negativity in so many comments about a beautiful woman in a light summer dress – again, except for the Bulgari jewelry, a personal dislike, I find everything else lovely. Now, for the 'Carrie Bradshaw' reference – that character, nor it's actress, ever dressed this lovely. Ms. Parker & 'Ms. Bradshaw' are both, what we in Los Angeles always referred to as pure "Valley Girl." (insert Go Go's music here please). Such a lovely woman is always a pleasure to see! Thank you, Robert
It doesn't fit up top as well as it should…like it's higher than her actual breasts or something. Maybe it IS her posture though.
Otherwise, it's very nice. Love her bracelet and the shoes of course, though to me they seem quite the PEACH colour and not really nude at all. Maybe that makes them better in my eyes (I love nude shoes but peach is unexpected)
The dress (Dolce?) is sweet and fresh-looking, but her shoes push it over the edge and make it tacky. I probably would have gone with a subtle nude pump, a la Louboutin, instead of the coral-y lace-ups.
I am guessing dolce and gabanna dress. The dress is gorgeous, but even a dress made to amplify/create curves manages to make her look flat as a board. I love this blog, but I wish there would be a different kind of beauty represented on here. I'm a size 2 but I think curves are beautiful.
She does have a beautiful body, but I don't think that dress does anything for her. The bustier doesn't seem to fit properly and makes her breasts look strange, although that could be her posture and not the dress. Love the shoes though.
I'm surprised there haven't been so many comments about her posture. It's not that the dress doesn't fit- it's that she's slouching horribly and causing the fabric to tug and droop in all the wrong places. Other than that, well done.
I always love a good white dress, it is eternally chic for summer if like anna (or indeed myself) you are able to pull it off.
She should have had ballet classes to sort out that posture. Shoulders back and down, and imagine there is a balloon attached to the top of your head – it will lift your chin up effortlessly.
uhm, what happens to the specs when she's inside? i know they would go on top of her head, but what if you are trapped inside for extended periods of time, that would drive me mad to have them on toppa me head for that long and it would drive me mad if i was conversing with her.
i know its a silly detail…but as it looks evening dress, i wonder where the specs are going? maybe she leaves them with her driver?
Anna is always super chic! I love this look. Great outfit and even nicer accessories. I love that Bulgari Tubogas watch!!!! What a great piece of functional jewelery!
Hello friends! She generally has an amazing sense of style however this time round she looks like 'mutton dressed as lamb'. The dress does not fit well and the colour of her shoes so not work well with her 'tan'. The watch is the Bvlgari Bvlgari Tubogas in yellow gold. 10 points for the watch!
Often I find fashion editor's looks (at least at shows) to be too over the top for my daily life but this is a look that I would happily copy head to toe and wear out to dinner.
Wow–the comments here are so negative. If you've ever seen photos of her before you know that her posture is always the same; maybe thus she can't help it? I know someone for example who has spine problems and no amount of correction can straighten out her posture.
Or maybe not but–in the fashion world and on a woman that sees every detail don't you think she has already considered her posture?
Its not like she's someone random who doesn't think about how she looks every hour of every day; seems it would have crossed her mind, no?
She always looks so immaculate and well put together! For me her statement bracelet is the best thing about her outfit though.
Loved the interview with Vogue by the way! It must have been so much fun for her to shadow you for the day while you look for the perfect people to photograph! I have a question though, do you upload all the photos you take during the day onto here? Or do you select the best ones/your favourites and upload just them? Just wondering!
I love it all. The beautiful legs and feet w/rosy toenails peeking out! From one small-breasted gal to another, the bustier doesn't work so well unless you have something to fill up the cups. I'm just sayin!
In defense of Carrie Bradshaw: watch all 6 seasons – she could not be further from a Valley Girl in manner, conversation, or clothing style. She didn't dress 80's that often.
Looking at this picture made me reflect on the differences between the three high priestesses of fashion. If I had to characterize them in one word, for Anna the word would be "strong", for Giovanna, "delicate" and for Carine, "sophisticated". They are all sexy and gorgeous, but each in her own way.
obsessed with all the accessories, the dress is beautiful, and the concept of the whole outfit is nice…but somehow it just doesn't work for me. it feels unflattering on her body, which for me shoots down a look immediately.
Love the Dolce dress and the amazing shoes (maybe they should have had another color but anyway). In Milan you can find lots of girls looking like this:)
I adore the nude stilettos, snake bracelet and glasses. That's the way to accessorize. It doesn't need to be gaudy. The slightest touch is more than enough.
Can someone answer me this question: Would it be necessary to get nice shoes such as these re-soled by a cobbler in order to preserve the life of the shoe? I ask because recently I invested in a nice pair of shoes such as these and now I am afraid of wearing them because somewhere I read that it is better to re-sole the shoe before wearing it in order to prolong its life. Is this true??? Thanks.

obsessed with all the accessories, the dress is beautiful, and the concept of the whole outfit is nice…but somehow it just doesn't work for me. it feels unflattering on her body, which for me shoots down a look immediately.

Gee, another super-skinny rich girl in shoes too high to actually walk anywhere in and sunnies half as big as her face. yawn.

Thanks.

The shoes are stunning, but the dress does not fit her very well, I think.
