I have been OBSESSED with prints lately! I went to Coterie this past weekend, and all I saw were prints, prints, prints, neon, and prints! I love them!
Now this is fab. This is what I would look at AND copy immediately if I were a designer for the Gap or J Crew. I love the huge cut offs and the beautiful small prints—echos of Cacharel circa 1966. Check it out!
Can I say how much I love that your last entry was “transport styles” and now you are featuring this wonderful collection with vroom vroom car patterns ect. on them. Excellent!
i love how similar yet different these two outfits are. the wild printed blouses are worn by both girls, but one is more laid back with denim shorts, the other more refined with the tight tweed pants. this might just have to be my new screensaver!
Who’re they? Are they two teen-ager waiting school bus? Are they two buyers ? Are two people loving the lifestyle? Are they two bloggers ? What do you think? Frances http://www.theafternoontea.it
Love horseprints. Posted an image of a lovely horseprinted dress, from Oasis (plus some more nice prints) a while ago. Liberty also have some classic prints.
Love the horse print blouse! Also really like the informal denim turn up shorts of the girl on the right… May need to go and look for some oversized jeans, and have a go with some scissors!!
The patterns of flowers, animals, spots … are all the rage in our style.
The important thing is not to fall into the temptation of buying clothes stamped commercial super chains like Zara and H&M (like the one on horses) because they are too obvious, it is better to invest a little more and buy something a little more special.
Hi, I took exception to the Ruth Montes Personal Shopper comment. Exactly how do you find these ‘special looks?’ Most of us cannot afford hundreds of dollars to buy that one piece, especially if it is only for a season. I’d rather buy the blouse at Zara’s and have something stylish than not.

wild horses tessellate across her body, an escher print in the flesh.
wild flowers, miming, a crystalline structure.
