Whence this new fashion for having the rear blade of the tie showing? I see it a lot lately. My feeling: if you want to have more tie showing, get a wider tie.

Probably the only guy on the planet that could wear a tie with a Levi denim shirt and make it look OK, I salute you Mr Squarzi. Scott, next time in Florence, visit nearby Lucca….there are many very stylish people there. Ci vediamo dopo ✌????

Such a lovely tie! It’s a shame I haven’t seen it anywhere I’d have bought it myself!

Only a guy who looks like him could pull this off. But hey, life ain’t fair. He pulls it off, dammit. :) He can do no wrong from what I’ve seen of him over the years on this blog.

Tie with denim shirt and suit is very 80s Ralph Lauren. I wear it occasionally but with single pocket shirt not a two pocket shirt. Knit ties are great pieces to tone down or step up formality when complementing other elements.

Im over the whole denim shirt dressed up thing. Buy a real shirt. And shave. Im over that too.

This is one of Scott’s best shots of Signor Squarzi. It perfectly captures the vitality of the man and his uncontrived creative style. He clearly enjoys wearing and pairing the elements of his wardrobe.

I’m not convinced by the shirt, a nice chamber would be better.
However the confidence combined with everything else makes up for it.
    The tie is just perfect.

I love his smile and laugh lines :-) He looks like he’d be a lot of fun over a long leisurely weekend lunch…

I agree with David in Yorkshire too, Lucca is wonderful and worth visiting. It rained non stop when we were there for a week or so, but somehow it didn’t hamper our fun. A gorgeous place, full of gorgeous people. Ah, Tuscany!

The suit is back. I’ve seen it on this site with a simple white tee, with a jeans shirt and with a less casual look. Looks great no matter what.
