You can get a long way without much money in terms of style, but this jacket is so beautiful, nothing zara for example could handle. But its good, that there is still a difference to be seen in certain exquisit clothing. Something to long for, to save for, that really makes a difference, makes you enjoy it so much. But even if you can afford it: you have to be able to wear it in such a sublime way! Magic.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ! The jacket, as every one said, is magnificent (and expencive, she's pretty lucky to be able to afford it). Alessandra certainly has a natural sens of style. And it seems she has a strong personality.

There's one thing about the people's reactions that realy always surprises me a lot : each time you take a picture of someone who smokes, plenty of people say "I love this but I hate the cigarette"… I don't understand that. I mean, the cigarette itself isn't uggly and it's not trivial to smoke : it's even more of a smart attribute if we remember all of the figures from the movies who smoked constantly and with great style in all the pre 90's movies. The only thing you can say is "it's a pitty she smokes because it's bad for her health". And this would be her personal problem anyway.

I think this is an other realy interesting proof that people watch to much TV and that the official proselytism works pretty well on people. This is well demonstrated here because as there are many people from many countries leaving comments here, it's easy to see the slight differences in the ingoing public opinions spread in each country's medias. So it's easier to point out the evident effects of this on people (in what they say).

One last thing about that : I don't smoke, so don't mix me up with a crappy pro-cigarette industrialist !

But to come back to the photo, it's spendid. Here again I love the colors. Thanks for this great post. Alessandra is lucky to have such nice photos taken of her by such a good photographer.

As for the smoking: Sart is not trying to make 'judgments' about his subjects or jockey them into position for any particular cause (i.e. pro-smoking or anti-smoking), – he is a professional creative voyeur with a creatively trained eye. And posts what he sees for the sole purpose of sharing what he sees through his eyes, as it comes, face value, as he "catches it." I am also a creative, and a non-smoker. But in the grand scheme of all things creative, just saying that some people smoke, just like some people dress better than others ;)

Oh, I love it! I love the mix of masculine and feminine. The ruffled scarf upon ruffled jacket over an all black outfit, the glittery bangle with the man's watch, the midsection busy with detail while the face is bare with swept back hair and no earrings, just Raybans. No models in the fashion mags ever look this chic. I am in awe. With a team of stylists, I doubt I could dress with a fraction of her style.
