What an amazing composition again! Her skirt and the car behind, they look so alike and yet they are totally different stuff.

On a preview I thought it was a leather skirt. But now, as I see it’s patent leather, it takes the look to another level of coolness))

I love the skirt and shirt combination, but I love it even more with the tie around her wrist. That little bit of playful color takes it to an even more satisfying place. Beautiful.

She looks great on the top half and agree that black looks fabulous with khaki. BUT I can NEVER, EVER get my head around the idea of the ‘flared leather skirt’! Please can somebody explain the attraction as it’s just lost on me? x Thank you!

      September 25, 2014 at 11:17 am

Me too. Flared leather? So bulky and uncomfortable.

wow, I’m obsessed with that skirt! Love seeing such a ladylike silhouette in such a masculine, rugged leather fabric–especially paired with the military shirt!

I love the glasses and the olive drab top, but I draw the line at her patent leather skirt–and the skirt really is drawing a line: the difference in weight between her top and her skirt make it look like she covered her bottom half with a lead-lined x-ray blanket.

    • Rebecca

      September 25, 2014 at 2:49 am

I so agree. It’s such an un-sensual material near the skin, like neoprene – best reserved for trim. I would love the skirt in any other fabric. And our appetite for novelty is creating so much future landfill…

Na. Great top half. The gloss of the leather skirt does not work as an outfit. Shame, nice shirt!

  40. martine

Really perfect. Love the skirt and military shirt combo. The tough green makes the black leather look extra lush. And the tiny waist makes her sexy!

It’s like a kind of biker version of Roman Holiday! Love this look, although I agree with others that I would prefer the skirt in another material. Just to look at though this is fantastic and her face and hair are lovely as well.

Like the material of the shirt, like the army look, associated with the leather skirt, and the ribbon: great association of different materials and different styles!

i love everything in this picture: the army shirt, the leather skirt, that checkered arm band, her naturally done hair. but mostly, i love your eyes and how they capture beauties, Scott! you have such eyes that see what others often missed.
