I love that her outfit is simple and chic, classy and straightforward, and then her shoes are so unique and almost silly. It’s mirrored in her beautiful hair that is flying across her face. Beautiful shot.
ditto. The combo is pure style. But the skater skirt is meant to be a bit silly, too, I think. You’d have to be able to not take yourself too seriously to pull either the shoes or the skirt look off with style.
I totally agree! It reminds me of a particular scene from Twin Peaks. The characters are seated at a dinner table and without any explanation an old woman with ENORMOUS white hair, piled two feet high atop her head, is sitting silently at the other end of the table. Bizarre. This is a great David Lynch shot.
Speaking of no socks … I’m fascinated by these pictures of women with coats but no tights. I know that tights can be distracting, and sometimes it can be a pain in the neck to choose the right shoes when you are wearing tights, but it is cold outside!
Lovely hair movement et great shoes but I’m intrigued by the woman in white with the amazing headdress. I would have liked to see her closely.
As for sockless, tightless, it’s a personal choice.
I wouldn’t expect those shoes from her! Sussie Lao, yes, but here, kind of strange. Anyway, she’s always gorgeous. Kind of whimsical paired with the skirt!
