You must have an exceptionally strong memory to remember your images from two years ago. Nice to see the contrast, especially that the same coat was worn by a man and a woman.
What I love about this is that it puts gender and newness aside and emphasizes quality. I also love the idea of a short story about characters that are connected across time and space by way of the clothes they wear.
Wow! What a perfectly unisex coat! I love the effect with the falling snow in the first picture – magical. The coat looks great and masculine on the guy, very refreshing.
An exceptional coat and 2 exceptionally stylish folks – a gorgeous piece (what is it?)! Also proof that good style transcends seasons or years – a classic is a classic. Just lovely.
Absolutely gorgeous winter shot, with falling snow. She looks happy, with a healthy glow and
a great coat never really goes out of style. Collars can be changed by covering with updated scarves or other accessories.
I’ve always been on the border about unisex dressing, but this coat pushes me towards an outstanding yes! Both have a very neutral palette. I don’t have a preference towards more layered up or down, though I do love her furry collar and his casual shades look. A timelessly great coat can’t be upstaged.
Also good to know that there are other people out there who have a keen memory for what they have seen years previous. I still to this day remember outfits I wore 10+ years ago, or clothing I saw that changed my life.
Yes – a good coat should do time travel. Adventurous cut, with imaginative play of edges, and lovely fabric. Maybe you will meet it again in another 2 years.
Beautiful pictures, fantastic unisex coat!:) They both wear it excellent, in their own way… but I might say I prefer this happy girl!:)

Yes, it’s a Miu Miu coat from the fall-winter 2009-2010 collection. It was a great collection.
This coat – a timeless piece. But I don’t like it at all on a man (it looks weird).
I think that when you find THE coat it doesn’t care time passing or fashion’s dictates, it will always be your winter certainty. I feel this with mine!
I’m obsessing over this photo combination…The coat itself is wonderful, and the twin images makes for such an interesting twist! (plus, her ability to wear so many layers and remain so stylishly cool and collected is impressive. I generally feel like a balloon)…
Sometimes when I get complimented on my memory, I get defensive over how NOT good my memory is; rather, what I remembered is just so perfectly indelible. Whatever the case for your remembrance, I’m so glad you did because those two images and that one coat … just, fuck. Wow.
the first thing i notice is the textures in everything that the guy is wearing. the sweater, coat, striped undershirt, and smooth tortoise glasses. i like it a lot.
I own that coat!! Wore it today. Bought it last year (for $50!!!) in a Canadian discount store (the Runway section of Winners for those Canadians out there!) – there was no label – but i could tell from the feel of the fabric and the lining that it was well made. She looks so gorgeous. I love her outfit from hat to bag. She shows great sense of matching items.
