I have been following the sartorialist for many years now. Not only have you inspired my fashion, but you also inspired me to study abroad in Milan. I landed today and will be attending school here until May.
Thanks Satorialist for being more than just a blog.
Love the way she put this outfit together. Looks like Spring is coming but you can never be so sure. I hope the pullover over dress fashion stays more than just two seasons! http://frommadridwithstyle.wordpress.com
Thank you for another whimsical photo. I love her style, it seem like the ensemble is just thrown together, not over thought or fussy âŠ.and thatâs the way I like it. Your site wills me to dress better, and inspires my model want-to-be side. Thanks for helping make the world more stylish .
I love those types of sweaters! They keep you warm even if you are barefoot! A great thing on a chilly morning. Even the wind doesn’t penetrate the weave. I have one just like that, and even tho its very old its still the best.
It makes me think of a “morning after” photo. Perhaps she had a late night interlude and is stopping outside the apartment or scene of the crime …. and reflecting on the event. The trepidation, the thrill, the regret or just the beauty of a night of romance. Then she’s off to the subway …… and life goes on … for the moment.
I really love this blog and have been getting great inspiration from several years back. I love everything about this look. The light, the girl, the sweater, dress/skirt, the hemline and especially the shoes. Shoes have so much impact on an outfit and they are like the cherry on a sundae. As a young lady I really adored sling back shoes and I adore shoes that look pretty and innocent. Not too high and no bondish or fetish look.
