Oh, I love this! I’m waaaay too busty to wear something like this and not look like I’m on the stroll, but she looks absolutely elegant and beautiful. I’m jealous!
This photo is very nice..lighting, subject etc. However, I do find that you often choose to photograph women that are extremely skinny. Should women look at this photograph and think they have to look like the woman in this particular photo? I’m not certain if its a positive message. Perhaps, a little variety would be a nice touch to your blog.
amazing black and white picture! only thing that i don’t like is the t shirt!
come on the body is’t perfect! it’s too skinny! bah
realy good picture! i like it
This Photograph is Breath stopping with Brilliant light,Perfect composition of the subject and background with in the frame. And yes the Black & White :)
Such a beautiful photo. And the black and white couldn’t be more appropriate than here.
Even the background is structured like a pyramid who leads our stares toward the hand covering his (her) face, a mystery….Is it a man or is it a woman?… definitely an androgynous.

There is a new proof of a very parisian phenomenon: in Paris, everything is possible. Nobody cares! Parisians are proud to ignore others… It has some advantages! ;-)
What’s kind of cool about this look is that she’s actually USING her skinniness in a very savvy way. On anyone plumper this might be a little tarty. But on her it becomes, as Scott shows us here, an elegant fugue in light and shadow, textures, shapes. And the glimmering bandeau underneath is alluring in a kind of abstract way. Her paleness works well too. On the other hand–personally–I would like a slightly fuller arm.
What bugs me a little about the styling is that there is too much “newness” and shinyness going on at the bottom of the picture. Shiny trousers with a strong fabric, an immaculate Belt with a shining metal buckle and a rather well behaved bag, also without any traces of wear… Maybe I am too much of a vintage victim but I think a slightly rougher, more used belt or bag would have given this a bit more balance….
Other than that, wonderful picture, great moment to capture her, great top that only someone as slim as her can pull of….
I would have never guessed this was outdoors, other than she is shielding her face from the brightness. Looks like she is stepping straight off the runway. http://stylehoot.blogspot.com
This is my favorite shot in months. The composition is beautiful: the long lines of the woman’s body and that of the figure behind her; the draping black bags on her shoulder; juxtaposed by the short black hyphen of her bandeau bra, and her horizontal arm and hand. And that her face is obstructed! Brilliant.
Have you considered that showcasing a shot of a person who has the body of someone with an eating disorder could be triggering to people who have previously had one? It certainly makes me uncomfortable. While usually the thin women that are prevalent on your site appear to be at least walking the borderline of healthy, this is a real step away.
