It’s great to be back in New York!
Fashion month is fun, but it’s so demanding that it’s hard to really analyze and understand what you’re seeing, because you’re seeing so much so fast. The next several weeks will be really fun on the blog because we will be able to have a deeper discussion about what’s happening on the streets of New York, Paris, London and Milan.

Yes street style! The problem with the fashion week posts is that everyone is a little too well dressed, it’s beautiful but a little intimidating too. In street shots however, inspiration seems to be coming from a wider variety of sources, and not primarily the catwalks. Love the volumes of the outfit and confidence radiating through this picture.

I do this too! I used to teach wee children, and their response to beautiful things worn in eclectic ensembles was soul-uplifting. A little more theatrical for the classroom, but the core impulse to dress in an architecture of happiness is the same :)

This all is just PERFECT! Marvellous coat (and warm too I think), nice clutch with funny coloured detail to make the day happy, beautiful watch (very classy and chic in natural leather), beautiful black stockings (with the very discrete detail in the front of the legg…) and those loafers … waaw just love them! The woman is very beautiful and natural, nothing overdone and even the glasses fit her style very well. The prove that women can be chic, classy and beautiful with loafers and not only with stilettos and heels from at least 12cm high! Love it, it really is my style completely … only I don’t have the money to buy me such wonderful coat … but I’ll inspire me from the look with my budget! Great inspiration for everything … and I hate wearing high heels so … this is like I said … PERFECT !!! And nice soft colours mixed with black … it works perfectly!!!!!

This is perfection.
KEEP IT SIMPLE. Little details like the watch, the shoes; the glasses and the bracelet but they don’t overload the look because the coat should remain THE major “detail” for this look. It’s all about him.

The Glasses are Givenchy and they are velvet (and amazing)! They’ve got them at Net-A-Porter, but know that they can’t take a high prescription because the heat of molding them would melt the fabric :(
