A long black skirt always looks so dramatic. It’s tough to pull off if you’re a little shorter, but I think this woman has done it right, by keep the top light and close to the body.
This was my interpretation: http://natashafatah.blogspot.ca/2011/12/flowery-darkness.html
I’m so glad when I see people who are NOT smiling when their picture is taken;it seems like they have A LOT on their mind; people tend to beam whenever they are photographed
She has such a lovely figure. There is something that is so “very best of the ’90s” about this outfit. The heavy shoes, the simple color pallete, the basic shapes and oversized shirt, even the sort hair style. Brilliant.
10/10! all the separate articles of clothing she’s wearing come together to create one, coherent aesthetic. love. this what i aspire to do when i dress up every morning.
I think this looks so very Asian. Maybe it’s the shoes, the thin silhouette, the clear face, the simple colours, the beads in the bag… But this looks so elegant in a Far East way.
Someone who really understands drape. This unpredictable elegance is so much more genuinely imaginative than all that desperate-to-break the rules stuff from wannabe avant-gardists.
I’ve often wondered what type of heels to pair with an interesting hem height and width. Her pairing is so smart and stylish. Makes you go Hmm.. On the look out for some Marni heel wedge or something
I love the androgynous look, perfect for the woman long and thin, with short hair. I am not sure about her footwear. It would probably look better with ballerinas, only my tast!
That looks amazing. I love the absolutely perfect length of that skirt/ pants. And i love the fat that its velvet. I almost never see velvet look good to me. But this sure does. Classy, simple, and original.
Cool pants & platformers. Not an outfit that I can or would wear, but I really like it. Especially on this woman. She seems like she has the right attitude for it, as if she doesn’t wear it just to stand out. Her hair is the best part for me!

What caught my eye was how the color/luster of the beads from the handbag complements the velvet.
The choppy hair and the chunky sandals provide a nice contrast to the drape/flow of the outfit.
Very stylish and put-together but with an effortless, comfort comes first attitude.

To be or not to be… feminine? Maybe all of us can be both answers (yes and no). It depends on our attitude.
