Again I say this with all the adoration in my heart – Asian men rules with confidence in their sense of style! Love the varied hues of blue in this man's wardrobe composition on a beautiful sunny day!
I love his bag!! I always try and match like that with a little twist. I figure if I do that then I will always be pulled togeather no mater how crazy my outfit is.
PS I just posted my 100th post :) still so new at this but I have not invited you to check it out. now I have an excuse :)
I love the jacket. In every outfit, there should be colors that absorb light (darker) and at least one element that irradiates it. I dont think there is anything here that brightens up the outfit, I would have chosen a white or very light blue button-down, but that's just me. What are other readers thoughts on very structured briefcases that look very worn, as is the case here? Jorge from WPB
Such a great look! This is all about the careful selection of color hues. The yellowish brown bag and shoes are such a beautiful contrast to the almost azure blue jacket. Very sensibly done!
Much much congrats for your book-signing, it looks like it was a very big event! I hope your blog will be the same and suffer no changes (at least bad changes!)
The thing that makes your pictures so different is the very special attention you are able to pay to the light. Great for these fashion shots because we can really see the buttons which pick up the shoes which pick up the tortoise shell glasses which pick up the satchel. Love it.
That satchel, and in fact the entire look, are almost from a Tintin book. Which is to say that that this is almost timeless, and give or take a few details you'd be hard pressed to say which decade this man is from.
This is Hoon! He is an amazing artist from Korea. I did a residency with him this past summer and adore his creative style. Very excited to see his look captured here!
This pic reminded me that I have a lovely, honey coloured Bree satchel that my parents gave me for Christmas in 1989. It's been resurrected for my Fall 2009. Thanks for the reminder!!!

Too dorky and too Mao-ish for my taste. The picture reminds me of Chinese Cultural Revolution. He must be Chairman Mao's great great grandson.
