I agree with someone above who said that the bag has nothing to do with this outfit. Besides I dont think grey favours her. It makes her look older. Instead I would use more lively colours as the navy she is using underneath.
On a positive side I have to say that her shoes are very pretty and the shirt is sensibly used…not to mention that she is a very interesting woman.

The bag goes perfectly with the outfit. Its fits the sensible, classic vibe of the outfit. And all the colors suit her very well, although I don’t actually see any grey except for her hair, which looks stunning. You would have to try very hard to find anything amiss with this look.

The scuffed shoes, casual bag, and messy hair are beautifully juxtaposed with the preppy clean lines of her blouse, sweater, coat, and immaculately done lips. A lovely mix of thift & prep without looking too try-hard.

Now, your comment really is interesting because its completely backwards to my impression. That Kenzo tote is a bit too trendy and spendy and of-the-moment to call it thrift. If anything the coat looks like she has had it for a long time. The shoes look expensive as well and in very good repair to me. The hair looks like that grey color that everyone is trying out in the fashion circles, and it looks like a very excellent cut and style, and if you think that its messy you had best never see mine! I find your comment so interesting, because it is completely the opposite of what I see here. Kind of thought provoking to realize that any two people see things completely their own way.

This is my fav street style for a while in terms of personal inspiration:I too, think this is a great work look. I don’t usually like the idea of pinching other people’s style, but this seems almost achievable. Where oh where does that gorgeous coat come form? And those shoes… divine!

I have been looking for a perfect pair of shoes like that. Those are really beautiful. Love the proportions, and the sensible, comfortable vibe you get from the roomy coat, the classic loafer, and the sturdy Kenzo tote. Like she dresses for function first. But the thing I like most is that interesting grey tinged hair color.

Brief analysis: Classic, casual attire. Someone who enjoys a little color without taking a bath in it. Her outfit is not intentionally eye-catching, and she appears very much at home in her clothes.
