Wow super clean cut, somehow everything falls perfectly together. And she's using her Chanel as a miff! I wonder if that's the inspiration. How peculiar!
Wow super clean cut, somehow everything falls perfectly together. And she's using her Chanel as a muff! I wonder if that's the inspiration. How peculiar!
The Jacket is very gorgeous and its delicate above all, but there must be some finishing touches that need to be carefully done in order to make it more glamorous.
I love the leather jacket with the insert of a darker leather, and are those sleeves suede? It's a nice combination, especially since it is collarless. Makes the whole issue of whether to wear your shirt collar outside or inside redundant. I also love it with the softness of a pleated maxi, is that chiffon?
It looks like she was having a fashion crisis and coulnd't decide between two or maybe even three outfits – the brown leather jacket with the black goth pleated shirt and the Debbie Gibson hat. It misses the mark entirely. Sorry.
I like the long silhouette & the brown & black colour scheme. Hard to believe that Christian Dior shocked the world when he mixed brown & black in the 1940s/50s!
I love that black & brown ensembles have made a comeback.
She is the most perfect lady I've seen here ever! I also love her complex jacket with the peacock leather. Blast me for giving away my peacock boots when I was an ungrateful teenager!
Wow…Remember Dexy's Midnight Runners?…At least this is the chic 21st version of it! Love the muff…'cuz ya know it gets pretty gosh darn freezing in Milan.
What are you people thinking? This look is a disaster! I wonder if the Sartorialist is playing a game of Emperor's New Clothes with his readers, just to see how many unthinking "I'm loving this look! Wow!" responses he can get.
The romance of this makes me swoon. We are heading to Italy in 7 weeks (can you tell I'm counting?) I'm stuck in Minnesota this winter – the temperature has been below 20 for 2 months and snow almost daily. (-15 degrees tonight!) Minnesota fashion is an oxymoron. One can only wear practical boots, a down coat, a hat which flattens your hair and usually pants / jeans that you can tuck in your boots and a sweater to keep warm. No jackets under a down coat – not a good look! The salt and snow ruin everything. What freedom to dress like this. I am dreaming of it – and packing this weekend just to pretend the time is near.
I normally have nothing but sweet things to say but this time?…It's "Um…No." Not a mean 'No' just a "Yeah, you won't see me imitating this any time soon" kind of No. But I definitely appreciate her… uh…"uniqueness"…is that a word?
As a little girl I thought muffs were the best things ever and then somewhere, somehow, somebody led me to beleive muffs were impractical and silly. Her look is quite lean and pretty and the muff is an elegant and luxurious touch. I really like everything here a lot.
I love midis and maxis but this looks wrong. The skirt and jacket are too opposing. And the large Chanel logo on the muffler looks fashion-victim. Great idea, but wrong choices of garments IMO.
With her exceedingly slender build, white blond bangs and beautiful face, this woman would look good in virtually anything. My take is that she's wearing a long, almost formal, black dress and shiny necklace. The Chanel muff will become a glittery shoulder bag indoors. The quirky mix suits her but may have been assembled mostly for warmth. Once she removes the hat and jacket, she will still look elegant but not so imaginatively discordant.
loving this shot, the clothing portrays strength and femaninity. While the model portays innocents and meekness with the way she holds herself, its funny how a picture can stir so many images in ones mind…..
This is not supposed to sound mean or anything but I couldn't stop myself from thinking "she is really thin" and not in a positive, healthy way…ignoring that factor I love the haircolour and the hat

My take is that she's wearing a long, almost formal, black dress and shiny necklace. The Chanel muff will become a glittery shoulder bag indoors.
