What really amazes me about this is that those doors have probably been beat to hell and neglected a bit but they still have the most gorgeous color you could ever imagine.
Wish I could see the “before” to this “after” photo, when all the tiles were there and it was newly built. This photo reminds me of places in the Yucatan somehow.
How sad. I can only imagine how beautiful Essaouira was in it’s heyday…with the blue tiles covering the entire column and the walkway very clean. It must have been magical.
I cant help but imagine how this place looked like when it was recently constructed. I see the remainings of blue tiles, the pillars probably looks like it was engraved with jewls. Great picture. Can’t wait to see more.
Fabulous picture! I’ll go to Morocco next year to vist a friend of my father….a magic place, colorful and special aroma! you will enjoy!
Kisses and see you around!

James G-not every photo Sart takes is of people/clothing. Sometimes the cultural areas of faraway places are as interesting as the people in them.
