I love photos of children smiling because it transcends all language barriers. No matter what their setting is, a smile from a child is always warm enough to melt hearts.
This is SO adorable! I’m still smiling as I write this. Like the rest of the photos of Morocco, these children possess a certain openness. Wonderful shot.
What a beautiful photo! I’ve really been enjoying your photos from North Africa- they are a welcome departure from your usual fare- but this is just too gorgeous. It makes me happy :)
I love this picture. Nothing like seeing the genuine smile from a child. In the states we don’t really see a lot of pictures of kids from other countries. Nice change of pace.
Just beautiful. Really loving these photos- the colours, the personalities you find and the stories you are portraying.

After 3 years of browsing this site, I’m leaving my first-ever comment to say that these must be the most adorable children I’ve ever seen! Especially the sneaky little boy.
Just wanted to say that it is a breath of fresh air to see different faces and countries represented on your blog and it adds a nice variety from the usual streets of New York..keep up the good work!
This is adorable, it really puts a smile on my face when I see how happy these two beautiful children look. I would love it if you checked out my blog, I have interesting fashion posts you might love to read.
Oh I want a womens shirt like the little girls.
Chocolate brown/ black with a lace strip down the front and a smile to match.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Mr. Scott, I think your most recent pictures in Morocco have really elevated your art. This photo and the photo with the girl in pink behind a plant aren’t merely pretty pictures like most fashion photography–they show us the divinity and beauty in children and innocence. Thank you for your great work!
What beautiful children! I find the Moroccan people’s approach to life so refreshing, especially in the Altas Mountains. Such a totally different way of life to anything I’ve witnessed previously!
If you sold this picture, I would buy it. As many people have pointed out, these children’s smiles are full of joy and hope. I broke out in smile and joy myself after I saw this picture.
No one knows I am there and Kani of the time is not time to laugh a child is innocent and looks of the eyes of dream and joy in every movement is the viewer that what they were waiting, turned to her brother and I and you are Do you know did not want the place clean and the road was waiting for me and the kids know me Do cents Claus I or gifts not up … clothes are old and cold winter sun warms not only send a string from the warming sneaking into the heart of the cold days
Thanks for this beautiful moroccan series. The luminous eyes, open smiles and delicate faces of these kids epitomize the charm and beauty of the Mediterranean sea’s african side, so near to us south europeans.
This photo is pure joy! This shot could have been taken anywhere – the gestures and laughter of children is so universal… I sometimes wonder about the happiness of people from other cultures. While they may not be as “privileged” as we, they get to experience the world stripped down without all the bells and whistles. Despite the hardships, there is some beauty in that…
