Such stunning & vibrant clothing. I am drawn toward the draping, the body language, & the unknown vastness in the background. :]

Her hands are at rest and appear to be simply enjoying their freedom to do nothing at all.

to post a photo that suggests poverty-stricken India amongst all other posts that suggest high-class fashion and wealth?

Visually amazing though controversial shots, as well as those taken in South America…In the end , they are a lesson for anyone, they do not have neither the money nor the chance to be involved in the world of fashion and they have a natural talent to choose and mix , an ability that many fashionistas would never ever get in all their possible reincarnations.

Mesmerizing image. It inspires a myriad of thoughts and emotions, and yet fluid in the way it can’t be pinpointed.

This photo haunts me, contrasting the richness of colour vs. the poverty of the culture.

And a comment lingers above mine, about the hands “enjoying freedom to do nothing at all.”

It continues to fascinate me how countries that deal with poverty as a norm produce fabrics in bright, rich, saturated jewel tones. And that people in countries of relative wealth often wear fabrics of black and grey.
