Yes, although I though this looked more like a fall collection with the dark colors and heavy fur pieces. I did however like them, I just didn’t expect them to turn up on the runway.

hmmm, definitely not keen on all the fur. but i do like the silhouettes with the longer skirts, and the tie dye coat.

amazing….as always! I like the mini fringes on the models and also, how aspects of this collection match up to past Parada collections that were on display this summer in NYC at the Met in the “Impossible Conversation” show…the collection with the crinkled fabric and the ties? I remember thinking that collection was “meh” then, but being ahead of your time is always difficult, even for your fans!

It’s very ladylike with 3/4 sleeves, gloves et longer skirts but that crinkled fabric and the astonishing colors give such a freshness to the collection. The “fur” worn on one shoulder is elegant.
I like everything, but 2-5-8 are my absolute favorites.

Think it has something to do with the references to the demure women of the Fifties? The shoes… The 3/4 sleeves… The gloves… Even the hair, in a way. Very interesting playing.

What is all that fur doing in a spring/summer collection? Furthermore, the clothes look awful except for two summer dresses. It’s farcical to think people would pay for these clothes.

i think i see a trend with the collections, the line between the spring/summer and fall/winter is dissolving
i love the floating effect of the pictures especially on the third one and the touch of “chola” in some of the looks

I am amazed! This is kind of Old Librarian-meets-Hollywood Glamour-meets-Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Something tells me that a lot of designers this season got confused and thought they were designing for fall/winter! My favorite peices from the collection are the neck peices and the furs…

This was fantastic. I love how different it is to other Miu Miu collections (which are good too, but it’s a nice change!).

Lovely collection and lovely photos, but what is up with the models all looking down? Were they instructed to, to look more demure? Or are the shoes not very sturdy, or what?

This looks not like a runway show, but theatre. So lovely and dramatic, yet mysterious and telling all at once. And the best part? If Miu Miu is doing classic pumps.. I think it means platforms and chunky heels are gone for good! At least for a while..

The fur is icky, but I like the crinkly fabrics and the silhouettes. There’s a sense of lightness that contrasts beautifully with the somber colors. I usually end up disliking spring collections because of the sweetness & light they tend to embrace… this is my kind of spring.

Sometimes, it feels like people celebrate something just because of the brand and because it is labeled “high fashion”, like for instance now. Wrinkled fabrics in dark colours, uninspiring palletes and furs on top of that (because god knows that you need a fur when weather allows you to go with your stomach bare) – if people have seen it on the street, without knowing that it is supposed to be “oh soooo coooool” I think there would be more raised eyebrows.

Oh! I love the way all the models are looking down in this show. It seems as deliberate as Diane von Furstenberg asked her models to smile. And I love the denim coat!

I am not sure about the textures. I kinda looks un-connected to me. Ruched silk, denim and fur )and sarin in the shoes). Not very matching for my taste.
The atmosfere is interesting though.

I am loving Miu Miu and Prada more of late. There is a lot to love here. The proportions, textures and colours and the crumpled treatment. The furs are really inspiring.
