ROLL UP! The Miu Miu Circus is in town!
The make up reminds me of a performance by Cirque Du Soleil that I once saw – Brilliance! Love the clothing, all the prints, details and embellishment; perfection. The shoes are reminiscent of something Balenciaga did a few seasons back…
Just because it is Miu Mui doesn’t make it good. I appreciate design and style but this is just plain ugly. The shoes are terrible and the patterend suits look as if one is in the circus. The first pic of a cape, poncho/coat really?! Just my opinion.
Mr. Schuman. These shots are on a different level. The lighting, the stillness of mid stride in towering chicness. My apologies, I’m swept away. Thank you for offering me glimpses of such divinity. The hands of masters at work!
eternal cheers to you
There’s something almost Dee-Lite-ful about the shoes (though the Fluevog Munsters will always reign supreme), and I’m surprised by how much I like the orange & pink print jackets. I think they’d look a heck of a lot better over old jeans & plain t-shirts, esp if the sleeves were rolled, but I like ‘em!
I really love the way you’ve shot this Scott. Since you’ve got more support to help with the non-photography aspects of your blog, I’ve noticed that you’re spending more time on photographing and your skill is really coming to the fore.
I kind of likeyour limited-side-view profile & the framing of the stride, combined with the extreme lighting. It looks energetic (like Swinging 60′s) yet very dramatic. More interesting than the flat front/3/4 view… and it shows how well the clothes fit.
All the gushy comments on some of these posts genuinely baffle me. Am I crazy? Scott, the photos are stunning and I totally j’adore your eye for a striking image, but most things Prada seem like a complete shot in the dark to me in recent seasons…Fabulous photos as always though! Crystals round the eyes, outfits that lack shape a focus and shoes that are not at all on point leave me with a huge ? for The House of Prada’s state.
